ਮਨਹੇਮ ਦਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਪਰ ਰਾਜ ਸ਼ੱਲੁਮ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਮਨਹੇਮ ਨੇ ਤਿਫ਼ਸਾਹ, ਜੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਿਫ਼ਸਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਚੀਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
