ਫ਼ਿਰ ਬੈਤ-ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਆਸ਼ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਜੋ ਅਹਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੋਤਾ ਤੇ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਆਸ਼ ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਨੁਕਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਤੀਕ 600 ਫੁੱਟ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

the wall	יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם	yĕrûšālaim	yeh-ROO-sha-la-EEM
of Jerusalem	וַיִּפְרֹץ֩	wayyiprōṣ	va-yeef-ROHTS
gate the from	בְּחוֹמַ֨ת	bĕḥômat	beh-hoh-MAHT
of Ephraim	יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֜ם	yĕrûšālaim	yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
unto	בְּשַׁ֤עַר	bĕšaʿar	beh-SHA-ar
