1 Samuel 14:32
ਲੋਕੀਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਲੁੱਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਕੇ ਲਿਆਏ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਢ ਮਾਰਕੇ, ਵਗਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਖੂਨ ਸਨੇ ਹੀ ਖਾ ਗਏ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੜੀ ਭੁੱਖ ਲਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।

| slew and | וַיִּשְׁחֲטוּ | wayyišḥăṭû | va-yeesh-huh-TOO |
| them on the ground: | אָ֑רְצָה | ʾārĕṣâ | AH-reh-tsa |
