1 Chronicles 7:28
ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਰਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵਸੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ: ਬੈਤੇਲ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਪਿੰਡ, ਨਅਰਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਹਿੱਸਾ, ਗਜ਼ਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਪੱਛਮ ਵੱਲ ਲਗਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਂਡ ਅੱਜ਼ਾਹ ਤੀਕ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਵੀ,

| Gezer, | וְלַֽמַּעֲרָ֗ב | wĕlammaʿărāb | veh-la-ma-uh-RAHV |
| with the towns | גֶּ֤זֶר | gezer | ɡEH-zer |
| thereof; Shechem | וּבְנֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ | ûbĕnōtêhā | oo-veh-noh-TAY-HA |
