Psalm 69 in Tamil

1 தேவனே, என்னை இரட்சியும்; வெள்ளங்கள் என் ஆத்துமாமட்டும் பெருகிவருகிறது. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

2 ஆழமான உளையில் அமிழ்ந்திருக்கிறேன், நிற்க நிலையில்லை, நிலையாத ஜலத்தில் ஆழ்ந்திருக்கிறேன்; வெள்ளங்கள் என்மேல் புரண்டுபோகிறது. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

3 நான் கூப்பிடுகிறதினால் இளைத்தேன்; என் தொண்டை வறண்டுபோயிற்று; என் தேவனுக்கு நான் காத்திருக்கையால், என் கண்கள் பூத்துப்போயிற்று. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

4 நிமித்தமில்லாமல் என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் என் தலைமயிரிலும் அதிகமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; வீணாக எனக்குச் சத்துருக்களாகி என்னைச் சங்கரிக்கவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிறவர்கள் பலத்திருக்கிறார்கள்; நான் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளாததை நான் கொடுக்கவேண்டியதாயிற்று. They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

5 தேவனே, நீர் என் புத்தியீனத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் குற்றங்கள் உமக்கு மறைந்திருக்கவில்லை. O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

6 சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, உமக்காகக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள் என்னிமித்தம் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாதிருப்பார்களாக; இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் என்னிமித்தம் நாணமடையாதிருப்பார்களாக. Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

7 உமதுநிமித்தம் நிந்தையைச் சகித்தேன்; இலச்சை என் முகத்தை மூடிற்று. Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

8 என் சகோதரருக்கு வேற்று மனுஷனும், என் தாயின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு அந்நியனுமானேன். I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.

9 உம்முடைய வீட்டைக்குறித்து உண்டான பக்திவைராக்கியம் என்னைப் படசித்தது; உம்மை நிந்திக்கிறவர்களுடைய நிந்தனைகள் என்மேல் விழுந்தது. For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

10 என் ஆத்துமா வாடும்படி உபவாசித்து அழுதேன்; அதுவும் எனக்கு நிந்தையாய் முடிந்தது. When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

11 இரட்டை என் உடுப்பாக்கினேன்; அப்பொழுதும் அவர்களுக்கு பழமொழியானேன். I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

12 வாசலில் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; மதுபானம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களின் பாடலானேன். They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

13 ஆனாலும் கர்த்தாவே, அநுக்கிரக காலத்திலே உம்மை நோக்கி விண்ணப்பஞ் செய்கிறேன்; தேவனே உமது மிகுந்த கிருபையினாலும் உமது இரட்சிப்பின் சத்தியத்தினாலும் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும். But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

14 நான் அமிழ்ந்திப்போகாதபடிக்குச் சேற்றினின்று என்னைத் தூக்கிவிடும்; என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களினின்றும் நிலையாத ஜலத்தினின்றும் நான் நீங்கும்படி செய்யும். Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

15 ஜலப்பிரவாகங்கள் என்மேல் புரளாமலும், ஆழம் என்னை விழுங்காமலும், பாதாளம் என்மேல் தன் வாயை அடைத்துக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பதாக. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

16 கர்த்தாவே, என் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டருளும், உம்முடைய தயை நலமாயிருக்கிறது; உமது உருக்கமான இரக்கங்களின்படி என்னைக் கடாட்சித்தருளும். Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

17 உமது முகத்தை உமது அடியேனுக்கு மறையாதேயும்; நான் வியாகுலப்படுகிறேன், எனக்குத் தீவிரமாய்ச் செவிகொடுத்தருளும். And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

18 நீர் என் ஆத்துமாவினிடத்தில் வந்து அதை விடுதலைபண்ணும்; என் சத்துருக்களினிமித்தம் என்னை மீட்டுவிடும். Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

19 தேவரீர் என் நிந்தையையும் என் வெட்கத்தையும் என் அவமானத்தையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் சத்துருக்கள் எல்லாரும் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறார்கள். Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.

20 நிந்தை என் இருதயத்தைப் பிளந்தது; நான் மிகவும் வேதனைப்படுகிறேன்; எனக்காக பரிதபிக்கிறவனுண்டோ என்று காத்திருந்தேன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை; தேற்றுகிறவர்களுக்குக் காத்திருந்தேன், ஒருவனையும் காணேன். Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

21 என் ஆகாரத்தில் கசப்புக் கலந்து கொடுத்தார்கள், என் தாகத்துக்குக் காடியைக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தார்கள். They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

22 அவர்களுடைய பந்தி அவர்களுக்குக் கண்ணியும், அவர்களுடைய செல்வம் அவர்களுக்கு வலையுமாயிருக்கக்கடவது. Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

23 அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் காணாதபடி அந்தகாரப்படக்கடவது; அவர்கள் இடுப்புகளை எப்போதும் தள்ளாடப்பண்ணும். Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

24 உம்முடைய உக்கிரத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் ஊற்றும்; உம்முடைய கோபாக்கினி அவர்களைத் தொடர்ந்து பிடிப்பதாக. Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

25 அவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலம் பாழாகக்கடவது; அவர்களுடைய கூடாரங்களில் குடியில்லாமற்போவதாக. Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

26 தேவரீர் அடித்தவனை அவர்கள் துன்பப்படுத்தி, நீர் காயப்படுத்தினவர்களை நோகப் பேசுகிறார்களே. For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

27 அக்கிரமத்தின்மேல் அக்கிரமத்தை அவர்கள்மேல் சுமத்தும், அவர்கள் உமது நீதிக்கு வந்தெட்டாதிருப்பார்களாக. Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

28 ஜீவபுஸ்தகத்திலிருந்து அவர்கள்பேர் கிறுக்கப்பட்டுப்போவதாக; நீதிமான்கள் பேரோடே அவர்கள் பேர் எழுதப்படாதிருப்பதாக. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

29 நானோ சிறுமையும் துயரமுமுள்ளவன்; தேவனே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பு எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமாவதாக. But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

30 தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைப் பாட்டினால் துதித்து, அவரை ஸ்தோத்திரத்தினால் மகிமைப்படுத்துவேன். I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

31 கொம்பும் விரிகுளம்புமுள்ள காளையெருதைப்பார்க்கிலும், இதுவே கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்கும். This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

32 சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் இதைக்கண்டு சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள்; தேவனைத் தேடுகிறவர்களே, உங்கள் இருதயம் வாழும். The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

33 கர்த்தர் எளியவர்களின் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்கிறார், கட்டுண்ட தம்முடையவர்களை அவர் புறக்கணியார். For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

34 வானமும் பூமியும் சமுத்திரங்களும் அவைகளில் சஞ்சரிக்கிற யாவும் அவரைத் துதிக்கக்கடவது. Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

35 தேவன் சீயோனை இரட்சித்து, யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டுவார்; அப்பொழுது அங்கே குடியிருந்து அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வார்கள். For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

36 அவருடைய ஊழியக்காரரின் சந்ததியார் அதைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வார்கள்; அவருடைய நாமத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்கள் அதில் வாசமாயிருப்பார்கள். The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

1 Thaevanae, ennai iratchiyum; vellangal en aaththumaamattum perukivarukirathu. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

2 Aalamaana ulaiyil amilnthirukkiraேn, nirka nilaiyillai, nilaiyaatha jalaththil aalnthirukkiraேn; vellangal enmael puranndupokirathu. I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

3 Naan kooppidukirathinaal ilaiththaen; en thonntai varanndupoyittaு; en thaevanukku naan kaaththirukkaiyaal, en kannkal pooththuppoyittaு. I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

4 Nimiththamillaamal ennaip pakaikkiravarkal en thalaimayirilum athikamaayirukkiraarkal; veennaaka enakkuch saththurukkalaaki ennaich sangarikkavaenndumentirukkiravarkal palaththirukkiraarkal; naan eduththukkollaathathai naan kodukkavaenntiyathaayittaு. 5 Thaevanae, neer en puththiyeenaththai arinthirukkireer; en kuttangal umakku marainthirukkavillai. O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

6 Senaikalin karththaraakiya aanndavarae, umakkaakak kaaththirukkiravarkal ennimiththam vetkappattuppokaathiruppaarkalaaka; isravaelin thaevanae, ummaith thaedukiravarkal ennimiththam naanamataiyaathiruppaarkalaaka. Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

7 Umathunimiththam ninthaiyaich sakiththaen; ilachchaை en mukaththai mootittaு. Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

8 En sakothararukku vaettaு manushanum, en thaayin pillaikalukku anniyanumaanaen. I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.

9 Ummutaiya veettaைkkuriththu unndaana pakthivairaakkiyam ennaip padasiththathu; ummai ninthikkiravarkalutaiya ninthanaikal enmael vilunthathu. For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

10 En aaththumaa vaadumpati upavaasiththu aluthaen; athuvum enakku ninthaiyaay mutinthathu. When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

11 Irattaை en uduppaakkinaen; appoluthum avarkalukku palamoliyaanaen. I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

12 Vaasalil utkaarnthirukkiravarkal enakku virothamaayp paesukiraarkal; mathupaanampannnukiravarkalin paadalaanaen. They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

13 Aanaalum karththaavae, anukkiraka kaalaththilae ummai Nnokki vinnnappanj seykiraேn; thaevanae umathu mikuntha kirupaiyinaalum umathu iratchippin saththiyaththinaalum enakkuch sevikoduththarulum. But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

14 Naan amilnthippokaathapatikkuch settinintu ennaith thookkividum; ennaip pakaikkiravarkalinintum nilaiyaatha jalaththinintum naan neengumpati seyyum. Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

15 Jalappiravaakangal enmael puralaamalum, aalam ennai vilungaamalum, paathaalam enmael than vaayai ataiththukkollaamalum iruppathaaka. Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

16 Karththaavae, en vinnnappaththaik kaettarulum, ummutaiya thayai nalamaayirukkirathu; umathu urukkamaana irakkangalinpati ennaik kadaatchiththarulum. Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

17 Umathu mukaththai umathu atiyaenukku maraiyaathaeyum; naan viyaakulappadukiraேn, enakkuth theeviramaaych sevikoduththarulum. And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

18 Neer en aaththumaavinidaththil vanthu athai viduthalaipannnum; en saththurukkalinimiththam ennai meettuvidum. Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

19 Thaevareer en ninthaiyaiyum en vetkaththaiyum en avamaanaththaiyum arinthirukkireer; en saththurukkal ellaarum umakku munpaaka irukkiraarkal. Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.

20 Ninthai en iruthayaththaip pilanthathu; naan mikavum vaethanaippadukiraேn; enakkaaka parithapikkiravanunntoo entu kaaththirunthaen oruvanum illai; thaettaுkiravarkalukkuk kaaththirunthaen, oruvanaiyum kaanneen. Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

21 En aakaaraththil kasappuk kalanthu koduththaarkal, en thaakaththukkuk kaatiyaik kutikkakkoduththaarkal. They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

22 Avarkalutaiya panthi avarkalukkuk kannnniyum, avarkalutaiya selvam avarkalukku valaiyumaayirukkakkadavathu. Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

23 Avarkalutaiya kannkal kaannaathapati anthakaarappadakkadavathu; avarkal iduppukalai eppothum thallaadappannnum. Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

24 Ummutaiya ukkiraththai avarkalmael oottaுm; ummutaiya kopaakkini avarkalaith thodarnthu pitippathaaka. Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

25 Avarkal vaasasthalam paalaakakkadavathu; avarkalutaiya koodaarangalil kutiyillaamarpovathaaka. Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

26 Thaevareer atiththavanai avarkal thunpappaduththi, neer kaayappaduththinavarkalai Nnokap paesukiraarkalae. For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

27 Akkiramaththinmael akkiramaththai avarkalmael sumaththum, avarkal umathu neethikku vanthettathiruppaarkalaaka. Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

28 Jeevapusthakaththilirunthu avarkalpaer kiraுkkappattuppovathaaka; neethimaankal paerotae avarkal paer eluthappadaathiruppathaaka. Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

29 Naano siraுmaiyum thuyaramumullavan; thaevanae, ummutaiya iratchippu enakku uyarntha ataikkalamaavathaaka. But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

30 Thaevanutaiya naamaththaip paattinaal thuthiththu, avarai sthoththiraththinaal makimaippaduththuvaen. I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

31 Kompum virikulampumulla kaalaiyeruthaippaarkkilum, ithuvae karththarukkup piriyamaayirukkum. This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

32 Saanthakunamullavarkal ithaikkanndu santhoshappaduvaarkal; thaevanaith thaedukiravarkalae, ungal iruthayam vaalum. The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

33 Karththar eliyavarkalin vinnnappaththaik kaetkiraar, kattunnda thammutaiyavarkalai avar purakkanniyaar. For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

34 Vaanamum poomiyum samuththirangalum avaikalil sanjarikkira yaavum avaraith thuthikkakkadavathu. Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

35 Dhevan seeyonai iratchiththu, yoothaavin pattanangalaik kattuvaar; appoluthu angae kutiyirunthu athaich suthanthariththukkolvaarkal. For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

36 Avarutaiya ooliyakkaararin santhathiyaar athaich suthanthariththukkolvaarkal; avarutaiya naamaththai naesikkiravarkal athil vaasamaayiruppaarkal. The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
