Psalm 119 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தருடைய வேதத்தின்படி நடக்கிற உத்தம மார்க்கத்தார் பாக்கியவான்கள். Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

2 அவருடைய சாட்சிகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவரை முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தேடுகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள். Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

3 அவர்கள் அநியாயம் செய்வதில்லை; அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடக்கிறார்கள். They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

4 உமது கட்டளைகளை நாங்கள் கருத்தாய்க் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி நீர் கற்பித்தீர். Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

5 உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி, என் நடைகள் ஸ்திரப்பட்டால் நலமாயிருக்கும். O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

6 நான் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் கண்ணோக்கும்போது வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போவதில்லை. Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7 உம்முடைய நீதி நியாயங்களை நான் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது, செம்மையான இருதயத்தால் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன். I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

8 உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்; முற்றிலும் என்னைக் கைவிடாதேயும். I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

9 வாலிபன் தன் வழியை எதினால் சுத்தம்பண்ணுவான்? உமது வசனத்தின்படி தன்னைக் காத்துக்கொள்கிறதினால்தானே. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10 என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன், என்னை உமது கற்பனைகளைவிட்டு வழிதப்பவிடாதேயும். With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

11 நான் உமக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பாவஞ்செய்யாதபடிக்கு, உமது வாக்கை என்னிருதயத்தில் வைத்து வைத்தேன். Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12 கர்த்தாவே, நீர் ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கப்பட்டவர், உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும். Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

13 உம்முடைய வாக்கின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளையெல்லாம் என் உதடுகளால் விவரித்திருக்கிறேன். With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14 திரளான செல்வத்தில் களிகூருவதுபோல, நான் உமது சாட்சிகளின் வழியில் களிகூருகிறேன். I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15 உமது கட்டளைகளைத் தியானித்து உமது வழிகளைக் கண்ணோக்குகிறேன். I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

16 உமது பிரமாணங்களில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கிறேன்; உமது வசனத்தை மறவேன். I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

17 உமது அடியேனுக்கு அனுகூலமாயிரும்; அப்பொழுது நான் பிழைத்து, உமது வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்வேன். Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

18 உமது வேதத்திலுள்ள அதிசயங்களை நான் பார்க்கும்படிக்கு என் கண்களைத் திறந்தருளும். Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

19 பூமியிலே நான் பரதேசி; உமது கற்பனைகளை எனக்கு மறையாதேயும். I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

20 உமது நியாயங்கள்மேல் என் ஆத்துமா எக்காலமும் வைத்திருக்கிற வாஞ்சையினால் தொய்ந்துபோகிறது. My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

21 உமது கற்பனைகளை விட்டு வழிவிலகின சபிக்கப்பட்ட அகங்காரிகளை நீர் கடிந்துகொள்ளுகிறீர். Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

22 நிந்தையையும் அவமானத்தையும் என்னை விட்டகற்றும்; நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறேன். Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

23 பிரபுக்களும் உட்கார்ந்து எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசிக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; உமது அடியேனோ பிரமாணங்களைத் தியானிக்கிறேன். Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

24 உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் எனக்கு இன்பமும், என் ஆலோசனைக்காரருமாயிருக்கிறது. Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

25 என் ஆத்துமா மண்ணோடே ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது; உமது வசனத்தின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும். My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

26 என் வழிகளை நான் உமக்கு விவரித்துக் காட்டினபோது எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்தீர்; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும். I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

27 உமது கட்டளைகளின் வழியை எனக்கு உணர்த்தியருளும் அப்பொழுது உமது அதிசயங்களைத் தியானிப்பேன். Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

28 சஞ்சலத்தால் என் ஆத்துமா கரைந்துபோகிறது; உமது வசனத்தின்படி என்னை எடுத்து நிறுத்தும். My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

29 பொய்வழியை என்னை விட்டுவிலக்கி, உம்முடைய வேதத்தை எனக்கு அருள்செய்யும். Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

30 மெய்வழியை நான் தெரிந்துகொண்டு உம்முடைய நியாயங்களை எனக்கு முன்பாக நிறுத்தினேன். I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

31 உமது சாட்சிகள்மேல் பற்றுதலாயிருக்கிறேன்; கர்த்தாவே, என்னை வெட்கத்திற்குட்படப்பண்ணாதேயும். I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

32 நீர் என் இருதயத்தை விசாலமாக்கும்போது நான் உமது கற்பனைகளின் வழியாக ஓடுவேன். I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

33 கர்த்தாவே, உமது பிரமாணங்களின் வழியை எனக்குப் போதியும்; முடிவுபரியந்தம் நான் அதைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன். Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

34 எனக்கு உணர்வைத் தாரும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உமது வேதத்தைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு, என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் அதைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன். Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

35 உமது கற்பனைகளின் பாதையில் என்னை நடத்தும்; நான் அதில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறேன். Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

36 என் இருதயம் பொருளாசையைச் சாராமல், உமது சாட்சிகளைச் சாரும்படி செய்யும். Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

37 மாயையைப் பாராதபடி நீர் என் கண்களை விலக்கி, உமது வழிகளில் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும். Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

38 உமக்குப் பயப்படுகிறதற்கு ஏற்ற உமது வாக்கை உமது அடியேனுக்கு உறுதிப்படுத்தும். Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

39 நான் அஞ்சுகிற நிந்தையை விலக்கியருளும்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் நல்லவைகள். Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

40 இதோ, உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளின்மேல் வாஞ்சையாயிருக்கிறேன்; உமது நீதியால் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும். Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

41 கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வாக்கின்படி, உமது தயவும் உமது இரட்சிப்பும் எனக்கு வருவதாக. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

42 அப்பொழுது என்னை நிந்திக்கிறவனுக்கு உத்தரவு சொல்லுவேன், உம்முடைய வசனத்தை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன். So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

43 சத்திய வசனம் முற்றிலும் என் வாயினின்று நீங்கவிடாதேயும்; உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன். And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

44 நான் எப்பொழுதும் என்றைக்கும் உமது வேதத்தைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன். So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

45 நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை ஆராய்கிறபடியால் விசாலத்திலே நடப்பேன். And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

46 நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளைக்குறித்து, ராஜாக்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் வெட்கப்படாமல் பேசுவேன். I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

47 நான் பிரியப்படுகிற உமது கற்பனைகளின்பேரில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருப்பேன். And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

48 நான் பிரியப்படுகிற உமது கற்பனைகளுக்குக் கையெடுப்பேன். உமது பிரமாணங்களைத் தியானிப்பேன். My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

49 நீர் என்னை நம்பப்பண்ணின வசனத்தை உமது அடியேனுக்காக நினைத்தருளும். Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

50 அதுவே என் சிறுமையில் எனக்கு ஆறுதல், உம்முடைய வாக்கு என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தது. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

51 அகந்தைக்காரர் என்னை மிகவும், பரியாசம்பண்ணியும், நான் உமது வேதத்தைவிட்டு விலகினதில்லை. The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.

52 கர்த்தாவே, ஆதிமுதலான உமதுநியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளை நான் நினைத்து என்னைத் தேற்றுகிறேன். I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

53 உமது வேதத்தை விட்டு விலகுகிற துன்மார்க்கர்நிமித்தம் நடுக்கம் என்னைப் பிடித்தது. Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

54 நான் பரதேசியாய்த் தங்கும் வீட்டிலே உமது பிரமாணங்கள் எனக்குக் கீதங்களாயின. Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55 கர்த்தாவே, இராக்காலத்திலும் உமது நாமத்தை நினைத்து, உமது வேதத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறேன். I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

56 நான் உமது கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டபடியினால், இது எனக்குக் கிடைத்தது. This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

57 கர்த்தாவே, நீரே என் பங்கு; நான் உமது வசனங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன் என்றேன். Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.

58 முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்முடைய தயவுக்காகக் கெஞ்சுகிறேன்; உமது வாக்கின்படி எனக்கு இரங்கும். I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.

59 என் வழிகளைச் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டு, என் கால்களை உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளுக்கு நேராகத் திருப்பினேன். I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

60 உமது கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளும்படி நான் தாமதியாமல் தீவிரித்தேன். I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

61 துன்மார்க்கரின் கூட்டங்கள் என்னைக் கொள்ளையிட்டும் உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நான் மறக்கவில்லை. The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

62 உமது நீதியான நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளினிமித்தம் உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்படி, பாதிராத்திரியில் எழுந்திருப்பேன். At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

63 உமக்குப் பயந்து, உமது கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிற அனைவருக்கும் நான் தோழன். I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

64 கர்த்தாவே, பூமி உமது கிருபையினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும். The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

65 கர்த்தாவே, உமது வசனத்தின்படி உமது அடியேனை நன்றாய் நடத்தினீர். Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.

66 உத்தம நிதானிப்பையும் அறிவையும் எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும், உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளின்பேரில் விசுவாசமாயிருக்கிறேன். Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

67 நான் உபத்திரவப்படுவதற்கு முன் வழிதப்பி நடந்தேன்; இப்பொழுதோ உம்முடைய வார்த்தையைக் காத்து நடக்கிறேன். Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

68 தேவரீர் நல்லவரும், நன்மை செய்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும். Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

69 அகங்காரிகள் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பொய்களைப் பிணைக்கிறார்கள்; நானோ முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன். The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

70 அவர்கள் இருதயம் நிணந்துன்னிக் கொழுத்திருக்கிறது; நானோ உம்முடைய வேதத்தில் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கிறேன். Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.

71 நான் உபத்திரவப்பட்டது எனக்கு நல்லது; அதினால் உமது பிரமாணங்களைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறேன். It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

72 அநேகமாயிரம் பொன் வெள்ளியைப் பார்க்கிலும், நீர் விளம்பின வேதமே எனக்கு நலம். The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

73 உம்முடைய கரங்கள் என்னை உண்டாக்கி, என்னை உருவாக்கிற்று; உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ள என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும். Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

74 நான் உம்முடைய வசனத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்கிறபடியால், உமக்குப் பயந்தவர்கள் என்னைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷப்படுவார்கள். They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

75 கர்த்தாவே, உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் நீதியுள்ளதென்றும் உண்மையின்படி என்னை உபத்திரவப்படுத்தினீரென்றும் அறிவேன். I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

76 நீர் உமது அடியேனுக்குக் கொடுத்த உமது வாக்கின்படி, உமது கிருபை என்னைத் தேற்றுவதாக. Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

77 நான் பிழைத்திருக்கும்படிக்கு உமது இரக்கங்கள் எனக்குக் கிடைப்பதாக; உம்முடைய வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சி. Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

78 அகங்காரிகள் என்னைப் பொய்களினால் கெடுக்கப் பார்த்தபடியால் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போவார்களாக; நானோ உமது கட்டளைகளைத் தியானிப்பேன். Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

79 உமக்குப் பயந்து, உமது சாட்சிகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறவர்கள் என்னண்டைக்குத் திரும்புவார்களாக. Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

80 நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடிக்கு, என் இருதயம் உமது பிரமாணங்களில் உத்தமமாயிருக்கக்கடவது. Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

81 உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்புக்கு என் ஆத்துமா தவிக்கிறது; உம்முடψய வசனத்துக்குக் காத்திருΕ்கிறேன். My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

82 எப்பொழுது என்னைĠύ தேற்றுவீர் என்று, உம்முடைய வாக்கின்மேல் நோக்கமாய் என் கண்கள் பூத்துப்போகிறது. Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

83 புகையிலுள்ள துருத்தியைப் போலானேன்; உமது பிரமாணங்களையோ மறவேன். For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

84 உமது அடியேனுடைய நாட்கள் எம்மாத்திரம்? என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்கு நீர் எப்பொழுது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்வீர். How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

85 உம்முடைய வேதத்துக்கு விரோதமாய் அகங்காரிகள் எனக்குக் குழிகளை வெட்டினார்கள். The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.

86 உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளெல்லாம் உண்மையாயிருக்கிறது; அநியாயமாய் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்; நீர் எனக்குச் சகாயம்பண்ணும். All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

87 அவர்கள் என்னைப் பூமியிலிராமல் நீக்கிவிடச் சற்றே தப்பிற்று; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை விட்டுவிடவில்லை. They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

88 உமது கிருபையின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய வாக்கின் சாட்சியைக் காத்து நடப்பேன். Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

89 கர்த்தாவே, உமது வசனம் என்றென்றைக்கும் வானங்களில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

90 உம்முடைய உண்மை தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக இருக்கும்; பூமியை உறுதிப்படுத்தினீர். அது நிலைத்திருக்கிறது. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

91 உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை நிறைவேற்றும்படி அவைகள் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் நிற்கிறது; சமஸ்தமும் உம்மைச் சேவிக்கும். They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

92 உமது வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிராதிருந்தால், என் துக்கத்திலே அழிந்துபோயிருப்பேன். Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93 நான் ஒருபோதும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை மறக்கமாட்டேன்; அவைகளால் நீர் என்னை உயிர்ப்பித்தீர். I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

94 நான் உம்முடையவன், என்னை இரட்சியும்; உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை ஆராய்கிறேன். I am thine, save me: for I have sought thy precepts.

95 துன்மார்க்கர் என்னை அழிக்கக் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள்; நான் உமது சாட்சிகளைச் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

96 சகல சம்பூரணத்திற்கும் எல்லையைக் கண்டேன்; உம்முடைய கற்பனையோ மகா விஸ்தாரம். I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

97 உமது வேதத்தில் நான் எவ்வளவு பிரியமாயிருக்கிறேன்! நாள் முழுதும் அது என் தியானம். O how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

98 நீர் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கொண்டு, என்னை என் சத்துருக்களிலும் அதிக ஞானமுள்ளவனாக்குகிறீர்; அவைகள் என்றைக்கும் என்னுடனே இருக்கிறது. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

99 உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் என் தியானமாயிருக்கிறபடியால், எனக்குப் போதித்தவர்கள் எல்லாரிலும் அறிவுள்ளவனாயிருக்கிறேன். I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

100 உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நான் கைக்கொண்டிருக்கிறபடியால், முதியோர்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் ஞானமுள்ளவனாயிருக்கிறேன். I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

101 உம்முடைய வசனத்தை நான் காத்து நடக்கும்படிக்கு, சகல பொல்லாத வழிகளுக்கும் என் கால்களை விலக்குகிறேன். I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

102 நீர் எனக்குப் போதித்திருக்கிறபடியால், நான் உம்முடைய நியாயங்களை விட்டு விலகேன். I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

103 உம்முடைய வார்த்தைகள் என் நாவுக்கு எவ்வளவு இனிமையானவைகள்; என் வாய்க்கு அவைகள் தேனிலும் மதுரமாயிருக்கும். How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104 உமது கட்டளைகளால் உணர்வடைந்தேன், ஆதலால் எல்லாப் பொய்வழிகளையும் வெறுக்கிறேன். Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

105 உம்முடைய வசனம் என் கால்களுக்குத் தீபமும், என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமுமாயிருக்கிறது. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

106 உம்முடைய நீதி நியாயங்களைக் காத்து நடப்பேன் என்று ஆணையிட்டேன்; அதை நிறைவேற்றுவேன். I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

107 நான் மிகவும் உபத்திரவப்படுகிறேன்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய வசனத்தின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும். I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

108 கர்த்தாவே, என் வாயின் உற்சாகபலிகளை நீர் அங்கீகரித்து, உமது நியாயங்களை எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும். Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

109 என் பிராணன் எப்பொழுதும் என் கையில் இருக்கிறது; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய வேதத்தை மறவேன். My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

110 துன்மார்க்கர் எனக்குக் கண்ணிவைக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை விட்டு வழி தவறேன். The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.

111 உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை நித்திய சுதந்தரமாக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன், அவைகளே என் இருதயத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சி. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

112 முடிவுபரியந்தம் இடைவிடாமல் உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களின்படி செய்ய என் இருதயத்தைச் சாய்த்தேன். I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

113 வீண் சிந்தனைகளை நான் வெறுத்து, உமது வேதத்தில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன். I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

114 என் மறைவிடமும் என் கேடகமும் நீரே; உம்முடைய வசனத்துக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன். Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

115 பொல்லாதவர்களே, என்னை விட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள்; என் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளை நான் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன். Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

116 நான் பிழைத்திருப்பதற்கு உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என்னை ஆதரித்தருளும்; என் நம்பிக்கை விருதாவாய்ப்போக என்னை வெட்கத்திற்கு உட்படுத்தாதேயும். Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

117 என்னை ஆதரித்தருளும்; அப்பொழுது நான் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டு எக்காலமும் உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களின்பேரில் நோக்கமாயிருப்பேன். Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

118 உமது பிரமாணங்களைவிட்டு வழிவிலகுகிற யாவரையும் மிதித்துபோடுகிறீர்; அவர்களுடைய உபாயம் வெறும் பொய்யே. Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

119 பூமியிலுள்ள துன்மார்க்கர் யாவரையும் களிம்பைப்போல அகற்றிவிடுகிறீர்; ஆகையால் உமது சாட்சிகளில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன். Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.

120 உமக்குப் பயப்படும் பயத்தால் என் உடம்பு சிலிர்க்கிறது; உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகளுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறேன். My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

121 நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்கிற என்னை ஒடுக்குகிறவர்களுக்கு என்னை ஒப்புக்கொடாதேயும். I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

122 உமது அடியேனுக்கு நன்மையாகத் துணைநில்லும்; அகங்காரிகள் என்னை யொடுக்கவொட்டாதேயும். Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.

123 உமது இரட்சிப்புக்கும் உமது நீதியின் வார்த்தைக்கும் காத்திருக்கிறதினால் என் கண்கள் பூத்துப்போகிறது. Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

124 உமது அடியேனை உமது கிருபையின்படியே நடத்தி, உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும். Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

125 நான் உமது அடியேன்; உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை நான் அறியும்படி என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும். I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

126 நீதியைச் செய்யக் கர்த்தருக்கு வேளைவந்தது; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை மீறினார்கள். It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.

127 ஆதலால் பொன்னிலும் பசும்பொன்னிலும் அதிகமாய் உமது கற்பனைகளில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன். Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

128 எல்லாவற்றைப்பற்றியும் நீர் அருளின எல்லாக் கட்டளைகளும் செம்மையென்று எண்ணி, சகல பொய்வழிகளையும் வெறுக்கிறேன். Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

129 உம்முடைய சாட்சிகள் அதிசயமானவைகள்; ஆகையால் என் ஆத்துமா அவைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளும். Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

130 உம்முடைய வசனத்தின் பிரசித்தம் வெளிச்சம் தந்து, பேதைகளை உணர்வுள்ளவர்களாக்கும். The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

131 உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளை நான் வாஞ்சிக்கிறபடியால், என் வாயை ஆவென்று திறந்து அவைகளுக்கு ஏங்குகிறேன். I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

132 உம்முடைய நாமத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு வழங்கும் நியாயத்தின்படியே என்னை நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எனக்கு இரங்கும். Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

133 உம்முடைய வார்த்தையிலே என் காலடிகளை நிலைப்படுத்தி, ஒரு அநியாயமும் என்னை ஆளவொட்டாதேயும். Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

134 மனுஷர் செய்யும் இடுக்கத்துக்கு என்னை விலக்கி விடுவித்தருளும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய, கட்டளைகளைக் காத்துக்கொள்வேன். Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

135 உமது அடியேன்மேல் உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணி, உமது பிரமாணங்களை எனக்குப் போதியும். Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

136 உம்முடைய வேதத்தை மனுஷர் காத்து நடவாதபடியால், என் கண்களிலிருந்து நீர்த்தாரைகள் ஓடுகிறது. Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

137 கர்த்தாவே, நீர் நீதிபரர், உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் செம்மையானவைகள். Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.

138 நீர் கட்டளையிட்ட சாட்சிகள் நீதியும் மகா உண்மையுமானவைகள். Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.

139 என் சத்துருக்கள் உம்முடைய வசனங்களை மறந்தபடியால் என் பக்திவைராக்கியம் என்னைப் பட்சிக்கிறது. My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.

140 உமது வார்த்தை மிகவும் புடமிடப்பட்டது, உமது அடியேன் அதில் பிரியப்படுகிறேன். Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

141 நான் சிறியவனும் அசட்டை பண்ணப்பட்டவனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்; ஆனாலும் உமது கட்டளைகளை மறவேன். I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.

142 உம்முடைய நீதி நித்திய நீதி, உம்முடைய வேதம் சத்தியம். Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

143 இக்கட்டும் நெருக்கமும் என்னைப் பிடித்தது; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய கற்பனைகள் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சி. Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

144 உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளின் நீதி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்; என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும், அப்பொழுது நான் பிழைத்திருப்பேன். The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

145 முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கூப்பிட்டேன், கர்த்தாவே, என் ஜெபத்தைக் கேளும்; உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன். I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.

146 உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன், என்னை இரட்சியும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுவேன். I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.

147 அதிகாலையில் நான் எழுந்து சத்தமிட்டேன்; உம்முடைய வசனத்துக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன். I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

148 உமது வசனத்தைத் தியானிக்கும்படி, குறித்த ஜாமங்களுக்கு முன்னே என் கண்கள் விழித்துக்கொள்ளும். Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

149 உம்முடைய கிருபையின்படி என் சத்தத்தைக் கேளும்; கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நியாயத்தின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும். Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

150 தீவினையைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்கள் சமீபிக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உம்முடைய வேதத்துக்குத் தூரமாயிருக்கிறார்கள். They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

151 கர்த்தாவே, நீர் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறீர்; உமது கற்பனைகள் எல்லாம் உண்மை. Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.

152 நீர் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை என்றென்றைக்கும் நிற்க ஸ்தாபித்தீர் என்பதை அவைகளால் நான் நெடுநாளாய் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன். Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

153 என் உபத்திரவத்தைப்பார்த்து, என்னை விடுவியும், உமது வேதத்தை மறவேன். Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.

154 எனக்காக நீர் வழக்காடி என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும், உம்முடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும். Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

155 இரட்சிப்பு துன்மார்க்கருக்குத் தூரமாயிருக்கிறது, அவர்கள் உமது பிரமாணங்களைத் தேடார்கள். Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.

156 கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரக்கங்கள் மிகுதியாயிருக்கிறது; உமது நியாயங்களின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும். Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.

157 என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களும் என்னை விரோதிக்கிறவர்களும் அநேகர்; ஆனாலும் உம்முடைய சாட்சிகளை விட்டு விலகேன். Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.

158 உமது வசனத்தைக் காத்துக் கொள்ளாத துரோகிகளை நான் கண்டபோது, எனக்கு அருவருப்பாயிருந்தது. I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

159 இதோ, உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நேசிக்கிறேன்; கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிருபையின்படி என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும். Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

160 உம்முடைய வசனம் சமூலமும் சத்தியம், உம்முடைய நீதி நியாயமெல்லாம் நித்தியம். Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

161 பிரபுக்கள் காரணமில்லாமல் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்தினார்கள்; ஆனாலும் என் இருதயம் உமது வசனத்திற்கே பயப்படுகிறது. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

162 மிகுந்த கொள்ளையுடைமையைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவன் மகிழுகிறதுபோல, நான் உமது வார்த்தையின்பேரில் மகிழுகிறேன். I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

163 பொய்யைப் பகைத்து அருவருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய வேதத்தையோ நேசிக்கிறேன். I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

164 உமது நீதி நியாயங்களினிமித்தம், ஒருநாளில் ஏழுதரம் உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறேன். Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

165 உம்முடைய வேதத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு மிகுந்த சமாதானமுண்டு; அவர்களுக்கு இடறலில்லை. Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

166 கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்புக்கு நான் காத்திருந்து உம்முடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி செய்கிறேன். LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

167 என் ஆத்துமா உமது சாட்சிகளைக் காக்கும்; அவைகளை நான் மிகவும் நேசிக்கிறேன். My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

168 உமது கட்டளைகளையும் உமது சாட்சிகளையும் காத்து நடக்கிறேன்; என் வழிகளெல்லாம் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறது. I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.

169 கர்த்தாவே, என் கூப்பிடுதல் உமது சந்நிதியில் வருவதாக; உமது வசனத்தின்படியே என்னை உணர்வுள்ளவனாக்கும். Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.

170 என் விண்ணப்பம் உமது சந்நிதியில் வருவதாக; உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என்னை விடுவித்தருளும். Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

171 உம்முடைய பிரமாணங்களை நீர் எனக்குப் போதிக்கும்போது, என் உதடுகள் உமது துதியைப் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்தும். My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

172 உமது கற்பனைகளெல்லாம் நீதியுள்ளவைகள்; ஆதலால், என் நாவு உம்முடைய வசனத்தை விவரித்துச்சொல்லும். My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

173 நான் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டபடியால், உமது கரம் எனக்குத் துணையாயிருப்பதாக. Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

174 கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின்மேல் ஆவலாயிருக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய வேதம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சி. I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.

175 என் ஆத்துமா பிழைத்திருந்து உம்மைத் துதிக்கக்கடவது; உமது நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் எனக்கு உதவியாயிருப்பதாக. Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.

176 காணாமற்போன ஆட்டைப்போல வழிதப்பிப்போனேன்; உமது அடியேனைத் தேடுவீராக; உமது கற்பனைகளை நான் மறவேன். I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

1 Karththarutaiya vaethaththinpati nadakkira uththama maarkkaththaar paakkiyavaankal. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

2 Avarutaiya saatchikalaik kaikkonndu, avarai mulu iruthayaththodum thaedukiravarkal paakkiyavaankal. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

3 Avarkal aniyaayam seyvathillai; avarutaiya valikalil nadakkiraarkal. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

4 Umathu kattalaikalai naangal karuththaayk kaikkollumpati neer karpiththeer. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

5 Umathu piramaanangalaik kaikkollumpati, en nataikal sthirappattal nalamaayirukkum. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

6 Naan ummutaiya karpanaikalaiyellaam kannnnokkumpothu vetkappattuppovathillai. Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7 Ummutaiya neethi niyaayangalai naan kattaுkkollumpothu, semmaiyaana iruthayaththaal ummaith thuthippaen. I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

8 Umathu piramaanangalaik kaikkolluvaen; muttilum ennaik kaividaathaeyum. I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

9 Vaalipan than valiyai ethinaal suththampannnuvaan? Umathu vasanaththinpati thannaik kaaththukkolkirathinaalthaanae. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10 En mulu iruthayaththodum ummaith thaedukiraேn, ennai umathu karpanaikalaivittu valithappavidaathaeyum. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

11 Naan umakku virothamaayp paavanjaெyyaathapatikku, umathu vaakkai enniruthayaththil vaiththu vaiththaen. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12 Karththaavae, neer sthoththirikkappattavar, ummutaiya piramaanangalai enakkup pothiyum. Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

13 Ummutaiya vaakkin niyaayaththeerppukalaiyellaam en uthadukalaal vivariththirukkiraேn. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14 Thiralaana selvaththil kalikooruvathupola, naan umathu saatchikalin valiyil kalikoorukiraேn. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15 Umathu kattalaikalaith thiyaaniththu umathu valikalaik kannnnokkukiraேn. I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

16 Umathu piramaanangalil manamakilchchiyaayirukkiraேn; umathu vasanaththai maravaen. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

17 Umathu atiyaenukku anukoolamaayirum; appoluthu naan pilaiththu, umathu vasanaththaik kaikkolvaen. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

18 Umathu vaethaththilulla athisayangalai naan paarkkumpatikku en kannkalaith thirantharulum. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

19 Poomiyilae naan parathaesi; umathu karpanaikalai enakku maraiyaathaeyum. I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

20 Umathu niyaayangalmael en aaththumaa ekkaalamum vaiththirukkira vaanjaiyinaal thoynthupokirathu. My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

21 Umathu karpanaikalai vittu valivilakina sapikkappatta akangaarikalai neer katinthukollukireer. Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

22 Ninthaiyaiyum avamaanaththaiyum ennai vittakattaுm; naan ummutaiya saatchikalaik kaikkollukiraேn. Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

23 Pirapukkalum utkaarnthu enakku virothamaayp paesikkollukiraarkal; umathu atiyaeno piramaanangalaith thiyaanikkiraேn. Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

24 Ummutaiya saatchikal enakku inpamum, en aalosanaikkaararumaayirukkirathu. Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

25 En aaththumaa mannnnotae ottikkonntirukkirathu; umathu vasanaththinpati ennai uyirppiyum. My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.

26 En valikalai naan umakku vivariththuk kaattinapothu enakkuch sevikoduththeer; umathu piramaanangalai enakkup pothiyum. I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.

27 Umathu kattalaikalin valiyai enakku unarththiyarulum appoluthu umathu athisayangalaith thiyaanippaen. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.

28 Sanjalaththaal en aaththumaa karainthupokirathu; umathu vasanaththinpati ennai eduththu niraுththum. My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.

29 Poyvaliyai ennai vittuvilakki, ummutaiya vaethaththai enakku arulseyyum. Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

30 Meyvaliyai naan therinthukonndu ummutaiya niyaayangalai enakku munpaaka niraுththinaen. I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.

31 Umathu saatchikalmael pattaுthalaayirukkiraேn; karththaavae, ennai vetkaththirkutpadappannnnaathaeyum. I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.

32 Neer en iruthayaththai visaalamaakkumpothu naan umathu karpanaikalin valiyaaka oduvaen. I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

33 Karththaavae, umathu piramaanangalin valiyai enakkup pothiyum; mutivupariyantham naan athaik kaaththukkolluvaen. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

34 Enakku unarvaith thaarum; appoluthu naan umathu vaethaththaip pattikkonndu, en mulu iruthayaththodum athaik kaikkolluvaen. Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

35 Umathu karpanaikalin paathaiyil ennai nadaththum; naan athil piriyamaayirukkiraேn. Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

36 En iruthayam porulaasaiyaich saaraamal, umathu saatchikalaich saarumpati seyyum. Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

37 Maayaiyaip paaraathapati neer en kannkalai vilakki, umathu valikalil ennai uyirppiyum. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

38 Umakkup payappadukiratharku aetta umathu vaakkai umathu atiyaenukku uraுthippaduththum. Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

39 Naan anjukira ninthaiyai vilakkiyarulum; ummutaiya niyaayaththeerppukal nallavaikal. Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

40 Itho, ummutaiya kattalaikalinmael vaanjaiyaayirukkiraேn; umathu neethiyaal ennai uyirppiyum. Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

41 Karththaavae, ummutaiya vaakkinpati, umathu thayavum umathu iratchippum enakku varuvathaaka. Let thy mercies come also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

42 Appoluthu ennai ninthikkiravanukku uththaravu solluvaen, ummutaiya vasanaththai nampiyirukkiraேn. So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

43 Saththiya vasanam muttilum en vaayinintu neengavidaathaeyum; ummutaiya niyaayaththeerppukalukkuk kaaththirukkiraேn. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

44 Naan eppoluthum entaikkum umathu vaethaththaik kaaththukkolluvaen. So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.

45 Naan ummutaiya kattalaikalai aaraaykirapatiyaal visaalaththilae nadappaen. And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

46 Naan ummutaiya saatchikalaikkuriththu, raajaakkalukku munpaakavum vetkappadaamal paesuvaen. I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.

47 Naan piriyappadukira umathu karpanaikalinpaeril manamakilchchiyaayiruppaen. And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.

48 Naan piriyappadukira umathu karpanaikalukkuk kaiyeduppaen. Umathu piramaanangalaith thiyaanippaen. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.

49 Neer ennai nampappannnnina vasanaththai umathu atiyaenukkaaka ninaiththarulum. Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.

50 Athuvae en siraுmaiyil enakku aaraுthal, ummutaiya vaakku ennai uyirppiththathu. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

51 Akanthaikkaarar ennai mikavum, pariyaasampannnniyum, naan umathu vaethaththaivittu vilakinathillai. The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.

52 Karththaavae, aathimuthalaana umathuniyaayaththeerppukalai naan ninaiththu ennaith thaettaுkiraேn. I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.

53 Umathu vaethaththai vittu vilakukira thunmaarkkarnimiththam nadukkam ennaip pitiththathu. Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

54 Naan parathaesiyaayth thangum veettilae umathu piramaanangal enakkuk geethangalaayina. Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55 Karththaavae, iraakkaalaththilum umathu naamaththai ninaiththu, umathu vaethaththaik kaikkollukiraேn. I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.

56 Naan umathu kattalaikalaik kaikkonndapatiyinaal, ithu enakkuk kitaiththathu. This I had, because I kept thy precepts.

57 Karththaavae, neerae en pangu; naan umathu vasanangalaik kaikkolluvaen enten. Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.

58 Mulu iruthayaththodum ummutaiya thayavukkaakak kenjukiraேn; umathu vaakkinpati enakku irangum. I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.

59 En valikalaich sinthiththukkonndu, en kaalkalai ummutaiya saatchikalukku naeraakath thiruppinaen. I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.

60 Umathu karpanaikalaik kaikkollumpati naan thaamathiyaamal theeviriththaen. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

61 Thunmaarkkarin koottangal ennaik kollaiyittum ummutaiya vaethaththai naan marakkavillai. The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.

62 Umathu neethiyaana niyaayaththeerppukalinimiththam ummaith thuthikkumpati, paathiraaththiriyil elunthiruppaen. At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.

63 Umakkup payanthu, umathu kattalaikalaik kaikkollukira anaivarukkum naan tholan. I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

64 Karththaavae, poomi umathu kirupaiyinaal nirainthirukkirathu; umathu piramaanangalai enakkup pothiyum. The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.

65 Karththaavae, umathu vasanaththinpati umathu atiyaenai nantay nadaththineer. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.

66 Uththama nithaanippaiyum arivaiyum enakkup pothiththarulum, ummutaiya karpanaikalinpaeril visuvaasamaayirukkiraேn. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

67 Naan upaththiravappaduvatharku mun valithappi nadanthaen; ippolutho ummutaiya vaarththaiyaik kaaththu nadakkiraேn. Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

68 Thaevareer nallavarum, nanmai seykiravarumaayirukkireer; umathu piramaanangalai enakkup pothiyum. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

69 Akangaarikal enakku virothamaayp poykalaip pinnaikkiraarkal; naano mulu iruthayaththodum ummutaiya kattalaikalaik kaikkolluvaen. The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

70 Avarkal iruthayam ninanthunnik koluththirukkirathu; naano ummutaiya vaethaththil manamakilchchiyaayirukkiraேn. Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.

71 Naan upaththiravappattathu enakku nallathu; athinaal umathu piramaanangalaik kattaுkkollukiraேn. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.

72 Anaekamaayiram pon velliyaip paarkkilum, neer vilampina vaethamae enakku nalam. The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

73 Ummutaiya karangal ennai unndaakki, ennai uruvaakkittaு; ummutaiya karpanaikalaik kattaுkkolla ennai unarvullavanaakkum. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

74 Naan ummutaiya vasanaththirkuk kaaththirukkirapatiyaal, umakkup payanthavarkal ennaik kanndu santhoshappaduvaarkal. They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.

75 Karththaavae, umathu niyaayaththeerppukal neethiyullathentum unnmaiyinpati ennai upaththiravappaduththineerentum arivaen. I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.

76 Neer umathu atiyaenukkuk koduththa umathu vaakkinpati, umathu kirupai ennaith thaettaுvathaaka. Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.

77 Naan pilaiththirukkumpatikku umathu irakkangal enakkuk kitaippathaaka; ummutaiya vaetham en manamakilchchi. Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.

78 Akangaarikal ennaip poykalinaal kedukkap paarththapatiyaal vetkappattuppovaarkalaaka; naano umathu kattalaikalaith thiyaanippaen. Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

79 Umakkup payanthu, umathu saatchikalai arinthirukkiravarkal ennanntaikkuth thirumpuvaarkalaaka. Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.

80 Naan vetkappattup pokaathapatikku, en iruthayam umathu piramaanangalil uththamamaayirukkakkadavathu. Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

81 Ummutaiya iratchippukku en aaththumaa thavikkirathu; ummudaψya vasanaththukkuk kaaththiruΕ்kiraேn. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.

82 Eppoluthu ennaiĠύ thaettaுveer entu, ummutaiya vaakkinmael Nnokkamaay en kannkal pooththuppokirathu. Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?

83 Pukaiyilulla thuruththiyaip polaanaen; umathu piramaanangalaiyo maravaen. For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.

84 Umathu atiyaenutaiya naatkal emmaaththiram? Ennaith thunpappaduththukiravarkalukku neer eppoluthu niyaayaththeerppuch seyveer. How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?

85 Ummutaiya vaethaththukku virothamaay akangaarikal enakkuk kulikalai vettinaarkal. The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.

86 Ummutaiya karpanaikalellaam unnmaiyaayirukkirathu; aniyaayamaay ennaith thunpappaduththukiraarkal; neer enakkuch sakaayampannnum. All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

87 Avarkal ennaip poomiyiliraamal neekkividach satte thappittaு; aanaalum naan umathu kattalaikalai vittuvidavillai. They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.

88 Umathu kirupaiyinpatiyae ennai uyirppiyum; appoluthu naan ummutaiya vaakkin saatchiyaik kaaththu nadappaen. Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

89 Karththaavae, umathu vasanam ententaikkum vaanangalil nilaiththirukkirathu. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

90 Ummutaiya unnmai thalaimurai thalaimuraiyaaka irukkum; poomiyai uraுthippaduththineer. Athu nilaiththirukkirathu. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.

91 Ummutaiya piramaanangalai niraivaettaுmpati avaikal innaalvaraikkum nirkirathu; samasthamum ummaich sevikkum. They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

92 Umathu vaetham en manamakilchchiyaayiraathirunthaal, en thukkaththilae alinthupoyiruppaen. Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.

93 Naan orupothum ummutaiya kattalaikalai marakkamaattaேn; avaikalaal neer ennai uyirppiththeer. I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.

94 Naan ummutaiyavan, ennai iratchiyum; ummutaiya kattalaikalai aaraaykiraேn. I am thine, save me: for I have sought thy precepts.

95 Thunmaarkkar ennai alikkak kaaththirukkiraarkal; naan umathu saatchikalaich sinthiththukkonntirukkiraேn. The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

96 Sakala sampooranaththirkum ellaiyaik kanntaen; ummutaiya karpanaiyo makaa visthaaram. I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

97 Umathu vaethaththil naan evvalavu piriyamaayirukkiraேn! Naal muluthum athu en thiyaanam. O how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

98 Neer ummutaiya karpanaikalaik konndu, ennai en saththurukkalilum athika njaanamullavanaakkukireer; avaikal entaikkum ennudanae irukkirathu. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

99 Ummutaiya saatchikal en thiyaanamaayirukkirapatiyaal, enakkup pothiththavarkal ellaarilum arivullavanaayirukkiraேn. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.

100 Ummutaiya kattalaikalai naan kaikkonntirukkirapatiyaal, muthiyorkalaip paarkkilum njaanamullavanaayirukkiraேn. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

101 Ummutaiya vasanaththai naan kaaththu nadakkumpatikku, sakala pollaatha valikalukkum en kaalkalai vilakkukiraேn. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

102 Neer enakkup pothiththirukkirapatiyaal, naan ummutaiya niyaayangalai vittu vilakaen. I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.

103 Ummutaiya vaarththaikal en naavukku evvalavu inimaiyaanavaikal; en vaaykku avaikal thaenilum mathuramaayirukkum. How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104 Umathu kattalaikalaal unarvatainthaen, aathalaal ellaap poyvalikalaiyum veraுkkiraேn. Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

105 Ummutaiya vasanam en kaalkalukkuth theepamum, en paathaikku velichchamumaayirukkirathu. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

106 Ummutaiya neethi niyaayangalaik kaaththu nadappaen entu aannaiyittaேn; athai niraivaettaுvaen. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

107 Naan mikavum upaththiravappadukiraேn; karththaavae, ummutaiya vasanaththinpatiyae ennai uyirppiyum. I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word.

108 Karththaavae, en vaayin ursaakapalikalai neer angaீkariththu, umathu niyaayangalai enakkup pothiththarulum. Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

109 En piraanan eppoluthum en kaiyil irukkirathu; aanaalum ummutaiya vaethaththai maravaen. My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.

110 Thunmaarkkar enakkuk kannnnivaikkiraarkal; aanaalum naan ummutaiya kattalaikalai vittu vali thavaraேn. The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.

111 Ummutaiya saatchikalai niththiya suthantharamaakkikkonntirukkiraேn, avaikalae en iruthayaththin makilchchi. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

112 Mutivupariyantham itaividaamal ummutaiya piramaanangalinpati seyya en iruthayaththaich saayththaen. I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.

113 Veenn sinthanaikalai naan veraுththu, umathu vaethaththil piriyappadukiraேn. I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.

114 En maraividamum en kaedakamum neerae; ummutaiya vasanaththukkuk kaaththirukkiraேn. Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.

115 Pollaathavarkalae, ennai vittu akantupongal; en thaevanutaiya karpanaikalai naan kaikkolluvaen. Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.

116 Naan pilaiththiruppatharku umathu vaarththaiyinpati ennai aathariththarulum; en nampikkai viruthaavaayppoka ennai vetkaththirku utpaduththaathaeyum. Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.

117 Ennai aathariththarulum; appoluthu naan iratchikkappattu ekkaalamum ummutaiya piramaanangalinpaeril Nnokkamaayiruppaen. Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.

118 Umathu piramaanangalaivittu valivilakukira yaavaraiyum mithiththupodukireer; avarkalutaiya upaayam veraுm poyyae. Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.

119 Poomiyilulla thunmaarkkar yaavaraiyum kalimpaippola akattividukireer; aakaiyaal umathu saatchikalil piriyappadukiraேn. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.

120 Umakkup payappadum payaththaal en udampu silirkkirathu; umathu niyaayaththeerppukalukkup payappadukiraேn. My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

121 Niyaayamum neethiyum seykira ennai odukkukiravarkalukku ennai oppukkodaathaeyum. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.

122 Umathu atiyaenukku nanmaiyaakath thunnainillum; akangaarikal ennai yodukkavottathaeyum. Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.

123 Umathu iratchippukkum umathu neethiyin vaarththaikkum kaaththirukkirathinaal en kannkal pooththuppokirathu. Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.

124 Umathu atiyaenai umathu kirupaiyinpatiyae nadaththi, umathu piramaanangalai enakkup pothiyum. Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.

125 Naan umathu atiyaen; ummutaiya saatchikalai naan ariyumpati ennai unarvullavanaakkum. I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

126 Neethiyaich seyyak karththarukku vaelaivanthathu; avarkal ummutaiya niyaayappiramaanaththai meerinaarkal. It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.

127 Aathalaal ponnilum pasumponnilum athikamaay umathu karpanaikalil piriyappadukiraேn. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

128 Ellaavattaைppattiyum neer arulina ellaak kattalaikalum semmaiyentu ennnni, sakala poyvalikalaiyum veraுkkiraேn. Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

129 Ummutaiya saatchikal athisayamaanavaikal; aakaiyaal en aaththumaa avaikalaik kaikkollum. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

130 Ummutaiya vasanaththin pirasiththam velichcham thanthu, paethaikalai unarvullavarkalaakkum. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

131 Ummutaiya karpanaikalai naan vaanjikkirapatiyaal, en vaayai aaventu thiranthu avaikalukku aengukiraேn. I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.

132 Ummutaiya naamaththai naesikkiravarkalukku valangum niyaayaththinpatiyae ennai Nnokkippaarththu, enakku irangum. Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

133 Ummutaiya vaarththaiyilae en kaalatikalai nilaippaduththi, oru aniyaayamum ennai aalavottathaeyum. Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

134 Manushar seyyum idukkaththukku ennai vilakki viduviththarulum; appoluthu naan ummutaiya, kattalaikalaik kaaththukkolvaen. Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.

135 Umathu atiyaenmael umathu mukaththaip pirakaasikkappannnni, umathu piramaanangalai enakkup pothiyum. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.

136 Ummutaiya vaethaththai manushar kaaththu nadavaathapatiyaal, en kannkalilirunthu neerththaaraikal odukirathu. Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.

137 Karththaavae, neer neethiparar, umathu niyaayaththeerppukal semmaiyaanavaikal. Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.

138 Neer kattalaiyitta saatchikal neethiyum makaa unnmaiyumaanavaikal. Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.

139 En saththurukkal ummutaiya vasanangalai maranthapatiyaal en pakthivairaakkiyam ennaip patchikkirathu. My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.

140 Umathu vaarththai mikavum pudamidappattathu, umathu atiyaen athil piriyappadukiraேn. Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

141 Naan siriyavanum asattaை pannnappattavanumaayirukkiraேn; aanaalum umathu kattalaikalai maravaen. I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.

142 Ummutaiya neethi niththiya neethi, ummutaiya vaetham saththiyam. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

143 Ikkattum nerukkamum ennaip pitiththathu; aanaalum ummutaiya karpanaikal en manamakilchchi. Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.

144 Ummutaiya saatchikalin neethi entaikkum nirkum; ennai unarvullavanaakkum, appoluthu naan pilaiththiruppaen. The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.

145 Mulu iruthayaththodum kooppittaேn, karththaavae, en jepaththaik kaelum; ummutaiya piramaanangalaik kaikkolluvaen. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.

146 Ummai Nnokkik kooppittaேn, ennai iratchiyum; appoluthu naan ummutaiya saatchikalaik kaaththukkolluvaen. I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.

147 Athikaalaiyil naan elunthu saththamittaேn; ummutaiya vasanaththukkuk kaaththirukkiraேn. I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

148 Umathu vasanaththaith thiyaanikkumpati, kuriththa jaamangalukku munnae en kannkal viliththukkollum. Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.

149 Ummutaiya kirupaiyinpati en saththaththaik kaelum; karththaavae, ummutaiya niyaayaththinpati ennai uyirppiyum. Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy judgment.

150 Theevinaiyaip pinpattaுkiravarkal sameepikkiraarkal; avarkal ummutaiya vaethaththukkuth thooramaayirukkiraarkal. They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.

151 Karththaavae, neer sameepamaayirukkireer; umathu karpanaikal ellaam unnmai. Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.

152 Neer ummutaiya saatchikalai ententaikkum nirka sthaapiththeer enpathai avaikalaal naan nedunaalaay arinthirukkiraேn. Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.

153 En upaththiravaththaippaarththu, ennai viduviyum, umathu vaethaththai maravaen. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.

154 Enakkaaka neer valakkaati ennai meettukkollum, ummutaiya vaarththaiyinpatiyae ennai uyirppiyum. Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.

155 Iratchippu thunmaarkkarukkuth thooramaayirukkirathu, avarkal umathu piramaanangalaith thaedaarkal. Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.

156 Karththaavae, ummutaiya irakkangal mikuthiyaayirukkirathu; umathu niyaayangalinpati ennai uyirppiyum. Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according to thy judgments.

157 Ennaith thunpappaduththukiravarkalum ennai virothikkiravarkalum anaekar; aanaalum ummutaiya saatchikalai vittu vilakaen. Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.

158 Umathu vasanaththaik kaaththuk kollaatha thurokikalai naan kanndapothu, enakku aruvaruppaayirunthathu. I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

159 Itho, ummutaiya kattalaikalai naesikkiraேn; karththaavae, umathu kirupaiyinpati ennai uyirppiyum. Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.

160 Ummutaiya vasanam samoolamum saththiyam, ummutaiya neethi niyaayamellaam niththiyam. Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

161 Pirapukkal kaaranamillaamal ennaith thunpappaduththinaarkal; aanaalum en iruthayam umathu vasanaththirkae payappadukirathu. Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.

162 Mikuntha kollaiyutaimaiyaik kanndupitikkiravan makilukirathupola, naan umathu vaarththaiyinpaeril makilukiraேn. I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.

163 Poyyaip pakaiththu aruvarukkiraேn; ummutaiya vaethaththaiyo naesikkiraேn. I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

164 Umathu neethi niyaayangalinimiththam, orunaalil aelutharam ummaith thuthikkiraேn. Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

165 Ummutaiya vaethaththai naesikkiravarkalukku mikuntha samaathaanamunndu; avarkalukku idaralillai. Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

166 Karththaavae, ummutaiya iratchippukku naan kaaththirunthu ummutaiya karpanaikalinpati seykiraேn. LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

167 En aaththumaa umathu saatchikalaik kaakkum; avaikalai naan mikavum naesikkiraேn. My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

168 Umathu kattalaikalaiyum umathu saatchikalaiyum kaaththu nadakkiraேn; en valikalellaam umakku munpaaka irukkirathu. I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.

169 Karththaavae, en kooppiduthal umathu sannithiyil varuvathaaka; umathu vasanaththinpatiyae ennai unarvullavanaakkum. Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.

170 En vinnnappam umathu sannithiyil varuvathaaka; umathu vaarththaiyinpati ennai viduviththarulum. Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

171 Ummutaiya piramaanangalai neer enakkup pothikkumpothu, en uthadukal umathu thuthiyaip pirasthaapappaduththum. My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

172 Umathu karpanaikalellaam neethiyullavaikal; aathalaal, en naavu ummutaiya vasanaththai vivariththuchchaொllum. My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

173 Naan ummutaiya kattalaikalaith therinthukonndapatiyaal, umathu karam enakkuth thunnaiyaayiruppathaaka. Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.

174 Karththaavae, ummutaiya iratchippinmael aavalaayirukkiraேn; ummutaiya vaetham en manamakilchchi. I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.

175 En aaththumaa pilaiththirunthu ummaith thuthikkakkadavathu; umathu niyaayaththeerppukal enakku uthaviyaayiruppathaaka. Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.

176 Kaannaamarpona aattaைppola valithappipponaen; umathu atiyaenaith thaeduveeraaka; umathu karpanaikalai naan maravaen. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
