Isaiah 20:4
ଅଶୂର ରାଜା ମିଶର ଓ କୂଶରୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବ। ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହବେ। କାରଣ ମିଶରୀଯ ଆବାଳବୃଦ୍ଧ ବନ୍ଦୀଙ୍କୁ ଓ କୂଶୀଯ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିବସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ଶୂନ୍ଯପାଦ କରି ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କ ଦେଶରୁ ନଇେଯିବେ।

ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଉଛି ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାଠାରୁେ ଅଗ୍ନି ରେ ଖାଣ୍ଟି ହାଇେଥିବା ସୁନା କିଣ। ତା'ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ଧନୀ ହାଇଯେିବ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଏହା କହୁଛି : ଧଳା ବସ୍ତ୍ର କିଣ। ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିଜର ଲଜ୍ଜାପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଉଲଗ୍ନତାକୁ ଘାଡ଼ଇେେ ରଖିପାରିବ। ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଔଷଧ କିଣି ଆଖି ରେ ଲଗାଇବା ପାଇଁ ମଧ୍ଯ କହୁଛି। ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ଦେଖିପାରିବ।

ହେ ଶାଫୀର ନିବାସୀଗଣ, ଉଲଗ୍ନ ଓ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହାଇେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ରାସ୍ତା ଅତିକ୍ରମ କର। ହେ ସାନନ ନିବାସୀଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବାହାରକୁ ବାହାରିବ ନାହିଁ। ହେ ବୈଥେତ୍ସଲର ନିବାସୀଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସୁରକ୍ଷା କାଢି ନିଆ ହବୋ ପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶାେକ କରିବ।

ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତଫନ ହଷେ ରେ ମିଶରର ୟୁଆଳିସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗିବା ଓ ତାହାର ପରାକ୍ରମର ଦର୍ପ ତାହା ମଧିଅରେ ଶଷେ ହବେ, ତାହା ତଫନ ହଷେର ଅନ୍ଧକାର ଦିନ ଥିଲା। ଏହା ମେଘ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହବେ ଓ ଏହାର କନ୍ଯାମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବନ୍ଦୀରୂପେ ନୀତ ହବେେ।

ପୁଣି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରାଣନାଶକାରୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଓ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦନିତ୍ସର ଓ ତାହାର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା। ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ପୂର୍ବକାଳ ରେ ମିଶର ଯେଉଁପରି ଶାନ୍ତି ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିଲା, ଏହି ଦୁଃସମୟ ପ ରେ ସେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଶାନ୍ତି ରେ ରହିବ।

ତୁମ୍ଭର ଉଲଙ୍ଗତା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହବେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲଜ୍ଜାର ବିଷଯ ଦୃଶ୍ଯ ହବେ ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧ ନଲୋ ବେଳେ କହେି ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆସିବେ ନାହିଁ।
