ସହେି ରାତ୍ରି ରେ ତା'ର ଭାଇମାନେ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ରାତ୍ରି ୟାପନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ରହିଲେ। ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଜଣେ ଗଧକୁ ଆହାର ଦବୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପଟ ଫିଟାନ୍ତେ ସେ ତା'ର ଟଙ୍କା ସବୁ ଦେଖିଲା!

ସେ ଆହତ ଲୋକଟି ପାଖକୁ ଗଲେ। ତା କ୍ଷତ ରେ ତଲେ ଓ ଅଙ୍ଗୁର ରସ ଢାଳି ପଟି ବାନ୍ଧି ଦେଲେ। ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ଗଧଟିଏ ଥିଲା। ସେ ଆହତ ଲୋକଟିକୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଗଧ ଉପରେ ବସାଇ ଗୋଟିଏ ଚଟିଘରକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ। ଚଟିଘ ରେ ସେ ଆହତ ଲୋକଟିର ଯତ୍ନ ନେଲେ।
