ଯିହୋଶୂୟ 10:4
ମାେ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆସ ଏବଂ ଗିବିଯୋନକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କର। ଗିବିଯୋନୀଯମାନେ ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଶାନ୍ତିଚକ୍ସ୍ଟକ୍ତି କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ସହେିଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇ ମାରେୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହସ୍ତାନ୍ତର କଲେ। ଯିହାଶୂେୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଉପସ୍ଥିତି ରେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।

ଅବଶାଲୋମ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟ ଲୋକ କହିଲେ, ଅହୀଥୋଫଲର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଅର୍କୀଯ ହୂଶଯର ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଉତ୍ତମ ଥିଲା। ସମାନେେ ଏହା କହିଲେ କାରଣ ଅଦରକାରୀ ଏହି ପ୍ରକା ରେ ଅବଶା ଲୋମକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ ପାଇଁ ଅହୀଥୋଫଲର ଉତ୍ତମ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ବ୍ଯର୍ଥକରିବା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଥିଲେ।
