ଦାଉଦ ଓ ତା'ର ଲୋକମାନେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କରିବାକୁ ବାହାରିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇଶହ ପଲିଷ୍ଟୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କଲେ। ଦାଉଦ 200 ପଲିଷ୍ଟୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ସକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ନତ ଚର୍ମ ଆଣିଲେ ଏବଂ ଶାଉଲଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦେଲେ। ଦାଉଦ ଏପରି କଲେ କାରଣ ସେ ଗ୍ଭହିଁଥିଲେ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଜ୍ବାଇଁ ହବୋପାଇଁ। ଶାଉଲ ତାଙ୍କର କନ୍ଯା ମୀଖାଲକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦାଉଦ ସହ ବିବାହ ଦେଲେ।
