ପ୍ରଥମ ଶାମୁୟେଲ 17:35
ମୁ ତା' ପଛ ରେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲି ଏବଂ ତାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଆଘାତ କରି, ତା' ପାଟିରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମଷେକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଛଡାଇ ଆଣିଲି। ବନ୍ଯ ପଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଟି ମାେ ଉପରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ କକ୍ସ୍ଟଦା ମାରିଲା ମୁ ତା'ର ଦାଢି ଧରି ତାହାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମାରିଦଲେି।

| it out of his mouth: | מִפִּ֑יו | mippîw | mee-PEEOO |
| arose he when and | וַיָּ֣קָם | wayyāqom | va-YA-kome |
| against | עָלַ֔י | ʿālay | ah-LAI |
| me, I caught | וְהֶֽחֱזַ֙קְתִּי֙ | wĕheḥĕzaqtiy | veh-heh-hay-ZAHK-TEE |
| beard, his by him | בִּזְקָנ֔וֹ | bizqānô | beez-ka-NOH |
| and smote | וְהִכִּתִ֖יו | wĕhikkitîw | veh-hee-kee-TEEOO |
| him, and slew | וַֽהֲמִיתִּֽיו׃ | wahămîttîw | VA-huh-mee-TEEV |
