Job 41
1 ଆୟୁବ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବନଶୀ କଣ୍ଟା ରେ ଲିବିଯାଥନକୁ ଧରିପାରିବ କି ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା'ର ଜିଭକୁ ରସି ରେ ବାନ୍ଧିପାରିବ କି ?
2 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା' ନାକରେ ରସି ପୁରାଇ ପାରିବ କି ? ତା'ର ଦାନ୍ତ ମାଢ଼ି ରେ ଅଙ୍କୁଶ ପୁରାଇ ପାରିବ କି ?
3 ଲିବିଯାଥନ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭିକ୍ଷା କରିବ କି ତାକୁ ମୁକୁଳାଇବା ପାଇଁ ? ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କୋମଳ ଶବ୍ଦ ରେ କଥା କହିବ କି ?
4 ଲିବିଯାଥନ ତୁମ୍ଭ୍ ସହିତ ଚୁକ୍ତି କରିବ କି ? ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସହିତ ଚିରଦିନ ରହିବାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିବ କି ?
5 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲିବିଯାଥନ ସହିତ ଖଳେିପାରିବ କି ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପକ୍ଷୀ ସହିତ ଖଳେିଲା ଭଳି ତା' ସହିତ ଖଳେି ପାରିବ କି ? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାକୁ ଏକ ରସି ରେ ବାନ୍ଧି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସୀକୁ ତା' ସହିତ ଖଳୋଇ ପାରିବ କି ?
6 କବୈର୍ତ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ତାକୁ କିଣିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିବ କି ? ସମାନେେ ତାକୁ ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ କରି କାଟି ତାକୁ ବ୍ଯବସାଯୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିକିବେ କି ?
7 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତା'ର ଚମଡ଼ା ଓ ମୁଣ୍ଡକୁ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ମାରିପାରିବ କି ?
8 ଆୟୁବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଥରେ ମାତ୍ର ଲିବିଯାଥନ ଉପରେ ହାତ ରଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କବେେ ଆଉଥରେ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ! ଭାବ ସେ କି ପ୍ରକାର ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ହବେ।
9 ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ'ଣ ଭାବୁଛ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିପାରିବ ? ଭୁଲି ୟାଅ ! କୌଣସି ଭରସା ନାହିଁ ! ତା' ପ୍ରତି ଅନାଇଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଭୟଭୀତ ହବେ।
10 କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ଏତେ ସାହସୀ ନୁହେଁ ଯେ ତାକୁ ଉଠାଇବ ଓ ରଗାଇବ। ଏବଂ କେଉଁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ତା' ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଠିଆ ମଧ୍ଯ ହାଇପୋରିବ ନାହିଁ।
11 କୌଣସି ଜିନିଷ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ କାହାର ଋଣୀ ନୁହେଁ, ସ୍ବର୍ଗ ରେ ଯାହାକିଛି ଅଛି, ସେ ସବୁ ମାରେ ଅଧୀନ ଅଟେ।
12 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଲିବିଯାଥନର ଗୋଡ଼, ତା'ର ବଳ ଓ ମନୋହର ଆକାର ବିଷଯ ରେ କିଛି କହିବି।
13 କୌଣସି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତା'ର ଚର୍ମକୁ କଣା କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ତା'ର ଚର୍ମ ୟୁଦ୍ଧସଜ୍ଜା ସ୍ବରୂପ।
14 କୌଣସି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତା'ର ମାଢ଼ିକୁ ଖାଲିବୋକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ ହବେ ନାହିଁ। ତା'ର ଦାନ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଭୟଭୀତ କରେ।
15 ତା'ର ପିଠି ଧାର ଧାର ଢ଼ାଲ ପରି, ଯାହାକି ଦୃଢ଼ ଭାବରେ ସଂୟୁକ୍ତ ହାଇେଥାଏ।
16 ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକ ଏତେ ପାଖାପାଖି ଥାଏ ତା' ମଧିଅରେ ପବନ ମଧ୍ଯ ପଶିପା ରେ ନାହିଁ।
17 ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକ ଗୋଟିଏ ଅନ୍ୟ ସହିତ ସଂୟୁକ୍ତ ଅଛି। ସେସବୁ ଏମିତି ଏକତ୍ର ଲାଗି ରହିଛି ଯେ ତାକୁ ଅଲଗା କରାୟାଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ।
18 ଯେତବେେଳେ ସେ ଛିଙ୍କେ, ସେଥିରୁ ବିଜୁଳି ସଦୃଶ ଆଲୁଅ ବାହା ରେ, ତା'ର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳର ଆଲୁଅ ପରି ଝଟକେ।
19 ତା'ର ମୁଖରୁ ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନିକଣାର ମଶାଲ ବିଦ୍ଯୁତ ପରିବାହକ ଦ୍ବାରା ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ଆଲୋକରେ ଝଲକ ନିଃସୃତ ହୁଏ।
20 ତା'ର ନାକରୁ ଧୂଆଁ ବାହା ରେ ସତେ ଯମେିତି ରନ୍ଧା ହାଣ୍ଡିରୁ ଜଳନ୍ତା କୁଟା ବାମ୍ଫ ବାହା ରେ।
21 ତା'ର ନିଶ୍ବାସ ଅଙ୍ଗାରକୁ ଜଳାଇ ପା ରେ। ତା' ମୁଖରୁ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା ନିର୍ଗତ ହୁଏ।
22 ତା'ର ବକେ ବହୁତ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ। ଲୋକେ ତାକୁ ଦେଖିବା ମାତ୍ ରେ ତା' ନିକଟରୁ ଦୌଡ଼ି ପଳାଇ ୟାନ୍ତି।
23 ତା'ର ଚମଡ଼ାର କୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ନୁହେଁ, ଏହା ଲୁହାଭଳି ଶକ୍ତ।
24 ତା'ର ହୃତପିଣ୍ଡ ପଥର ସଦୃଶ। ଏହା ପଷେଣଶାଳାର ତଳ ପଥର ସଦୃଶ।
25 ସେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଉେଠ, ବଳବାନ ଲୋକମାନେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଭୟଭୀତ ହାଇୟୋନ୍ତି। ସେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଲାଞ୍ଜ ବୁଲାଏ ସମାନେେ ଦୌଡ଼ି ପଳାନ୍ତି।
26 ଖଣ୍ଡା, ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା, ଏବଂ ଶୂଳ ଲିବିଯାଥନକୁ ବାଜେ, କିନ୍ତୁ କବଳେ ସେସବୁ ଡ଼ଇେଁ ପଡ଼ି ଫରେି ଆ ସେ। ସହେି ଅସ୍ତ୍ର ତାହାକୁ ଟିକେ ବି ଆଘାତ କରେ ନାହିଁ।
27 ସେ ଲୁହାକୁ କୁଟା ସଦୃଶ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଏ। ଏହା ତମ୍ବାକୁ ପଚାକାଠ ପରି ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଏ।
28 ତୀର ତାହାକୁ ଦଉଡ଼ାଇ ପା ରେ ନାହିଁ। ପଥର ଡ଼ଇେଁ ପଡ଼ି କୁଟା ପରି ଫରେିଆ ସେ।
29 ଯେତବେେଳେ ଗୋଟିଏ କାଠଗଡ଼ ତାକୁ ଆଘାତ କରେ, ସେ ଅନୁଭବ କରେ ଯେପରି ଏକ କୁଟା ତା' ଦହେ ରେ ଲାଗିଲା। ସେ ଅଟ୍ଟହାସ୍ଯ କରେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଲୋକ ତାକୁ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ଫିଙ୍ଗନ୍ତି।
30 ତା'ର ତଳ ପଟରେ ଚମଡ଼ା ଶକ୍ତ ଭଙ୍ଗା ଖପରା ସଦୃଶ। ସେ କାଦୁଅ ରେ ଘୋଷାରି ହାଇେ ଗଲା ବେଳେ ବେଙ୍ଗଳା ରେ ବାଡ଼ଇବୋ ପରି ଚିହ୍ନ ଛାଡ଼ିୟାଏ।
31 ଲବେିଯାଥନ ପାଣିକୁ ଘାଣ୍ଟେ ହାଣ୍ଡି ଜଳ ଫୁଟିବା ପରି। ସେ ଫୋଟକା ତିଆରି କରେ, ଯେପରି ଗୋଟିଏ ହାଣ୍ଡି ରେ ତଲେ ଫୁଟେ।
32 ଲବେିଯାଥନ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତହିଁରେ ତା' ପେଛ ପେଛ ପଥ ଛାଡ଼ିୟାଏ। ସେ ପାଣିକୁ ଘାଣ୍ଟି ପକାଏ ଏବଂ ତା' ପଛ ଆଡ଼େ ଧଳାଫଣେ ଛାଡ଼ିୟାଏ।
33 ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ଲିବିଯାଥନ ପରି ଆଉ ଦ୍ବିତୀୟ ଜୀବ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ଏଭଳି ଏକ ପ୍ରାଣୀ, ଯାହାରକି କାହାରିକୁ ଭୟ ନାହିଁ।
34 ଲବେିଯାଥନ ସବୁଠାରୁ ଗର୍ବୀ, ପଶୁକୁ ବି ନୀଚ୍ଚ ଭାବରେ ଦେଖେ। ସେସବୁ ବଣୁଆ ଜନ୍ତୁମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ରାଜା ଅଟେ ଓ ମୁଁ ସହେି ଲବେିଯାଥନକୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିଛି।
1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?
4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?
14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.
15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.
Job 29 in Tamil and English
1 ଆୟୁବ ତା'ର କାହାଣୀ ଚାଲୁ ରଖିଲା,
Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,
2 ମୁଁ ଇଚ୍ଛାକରେ, କିଛିମାସ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମାରଜେୀବନ ଯେପରି ଥିଲା ସହେିପରି ରହନ୍ତା। ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ଉପରେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖିଲେ, ମାରେଯତ୍ନ ନେଉଥିଲେ।
Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me;
3 ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଉପରେ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ବଳ ଆଲୋକ ପକାଉଥିଲେ, ତାଙ୍କ ଆଲୋକ ବଳ ରେ ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ରେ ଚାଲିବାକୁ ସକ୍ଷମ ହାଇେଥିଲି।
When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness;
4 ମୁଁ ସହେି ଦିନଗୁଡ଼ିକ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଇଚ୍ଛାକରେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ମାରେ ସାଫଲ୍ଯ ଥିଲା ଏବଂ ଯେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ବନ୍ଧୁତା ମାରେ ଗୃହକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲେ।
As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;
5 ଆହା, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେ ସହିତ ଥିଲେ ମାରେପିଲାମାନେ ମାେ ଚାରି ପାଖ ରେ ଥିଲେ ସହେି ସମୟକୁ ମୁଁ ଚା ହେଁ।
When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me;
6 ଜୀବନ ଅତି ସୁଖକର ଥିଲା। ମୁଁ ମାରେ ପାଦକୁ ଦୁଗ୍ଧ ଲହୁଣୀ ରେ ଧୌତ କରୁଥିଲି। ମାେ ନିକଟରେ ଅନକେ ତୈଳ ନଦୀ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଥିଲା।
When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;
7 ସହେିସବୁ ଦିନଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ମୁଁ ନଗରର ଛକ ଜାଗାକୁ ଯାଉଥିଲି। ନଗରର ବଡ଼ମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବସୁଥିଲି, ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ବସି ସଭା କରୁଥିଲେ।
When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street!
8 ସବୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ମାେତେ ସମ୍ମାନ କରୁଥିଲେ, ସାନ ସାନ ପିଲାମାନେ ମାେ ଆସିବା ଦେଖି ସେ ମାେ ବାଟରୁ ଆଡ଼ଇେ ହାଇେ ଯାଉଥିଲେ। ବଡ଼ଲୋକ ସମ୍ମାନ ସ୍ବରୂପ ଛିଡ଼ା ହାଇେ ପଡ଼ୁଥିଲେ।
The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up.
9 ମାେତେ ଦେଖି ନେତାମାନେ ଚୂପ ହାଇେ ଯାଉଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ରେ ହାତ ଦେଉଥିଲେ।
The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth.
10 ଏପରିକି ଗଣ୍ଯମାନ୍ଯ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ମଧ୍ଯ ତାଙ୍କର କଥା କହିଲା ବେଳେ ଆସ୍ତେ କଥା ହେଉଥିଲେ, ଏହା ଦଖାଯାେଉଥିଲା ଯେପରି ତାଙ୍କର ଜିଭ ପାଟି ରେ ଅଟକି ଯାଉଥିଲା।
The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.
11 ମୁଁ ଯାହା କହୁଥିଲି ସମାନେେ ତାହା ମନ ଦଇେ ଶୁଣୁଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ଏହାପରେ ମାେ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଭଲ କଥା ହେଉଥିଲେ। ମୁଁ ଯାହା କରୁଥିଲି, ଲୋକେ ତାକୁ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁଥିଲେ।
When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:
12 କାହିଁକି ? କାରଣ ଯେତବେେଳେ କୌଣସି ଗରିବ ଲୋକଟିଏ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ଡ଼ାକୁଥିଲା ମୁଁ ତାକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ଯ ସହେି ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲି। ଯାହାଙ୍କର ପିତାମାତା ନ ଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଯତ୍ନ ନବୋକୁ କହେି ନ ଥିଲେ।
Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.
13 ଯେଉଁ ମଣିଷ ମରି ଯାଉଥିଲା ସେ ମାେତେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କଲା। ମୁଁ ସହେି ବିଧବାମାନଙ୍କୁ କିଛି ଖାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦଲେି।
The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.
14 ଧାର୍ମିକତା ମାରେ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ନ୍ଯାଯ ମାରେ ଚୋଗା ଓ ମାରେ ପଗଡ଼ି ଥିଲା।
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.
15 ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ଧ ଲୋକର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ସଦୃଶ ଥିଲି। ସମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ଆଡ଼କୁ ୟିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଥିଲେ ସହେି ପଥରେ ୟିବାକୁ ମୁଁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲି। େଛାଟ ଲୋକର ମୁଁ ପାଦ ସଦୃଶ ଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବୋହି ନେଉଥିଲି। ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ସମାନେେ ୟିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଥିଲେ।
I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame.
16 ମୁଁ ଗରିବ ଲୋକର ପିତା ସଦୃଶ ଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ନ ଜାଣିଥିବା ଲୋକକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରୁଥିଲି। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅଦାଲତ ରେ ତର୍କ ରେ ଜିତାଇ ଦେଉଥିଲି।
I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out.
17 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକର କ୍ଷମତାର ଅପବ୍ଯବହାରରୁ ନିରୀହ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରୁଥିଲି।
And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.
18 ମୁଁ ଭାବୁଥିଲି, ମୁଁ ମାେ ଗୃହ ରେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବି, କିନ୍ତୁ ମାରେ ଦିନଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ବାଲିକଣା ପରି ହବେ।
Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand.
19 ମୁଁ ସବୁଦିନ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ଯବାନ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯକ୍ଷମ ଥିବି। ଗୋଟିଏ ସବଳ ବୃକ୍ଷଭଳି ଯାହାର ଚରେ ମାଟିତଳେ ଜଳକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରି ଅନକେ ଡ଼ାଳ ଶାଖା ପ୍ରଶାଖା ମଲେି କାକର ରେ ଭିଜି ୟାଇଥିବ।
My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.
20 ମାେ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଦିନ ଗୋଟିଏ ନୂଆଦିନ ହାଇେଥିବ ଯାହା ମାରେ ଗୌରବ ରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହବୋ ସହିତ ବହୁତ ନୂଆ ସମ୍ଭାବନାକୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ସାକାର କରୁଥିବ।
My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand.
21 ଅତୀତ ରେ ଲୋକେ ମାେ କଥାକୁ ନିରବ ଚାପ ଶୁଣିଥିଲେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ମାେ ପାଖକୁ କୌଣସି ଉପଦେଶ ପାଇଁ ଆସୁଥିଲେ।
Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.
22 ମୁଁ ମାରେବକ୍ତବ୍ଯ ସମାପ୍ତି କଲାପରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଶୁଣି ପାରିଲେ, ପରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଆଉ କିଛି କହିବାକୁ ନ ଥାଏ। ମାରେ ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ସମାନଙ୍କେ କାନକୁ ମୃଦୁ ଭାବରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରୁଥିଲା।
After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them.
23 ଲୋକେ ବର୍ଷାକୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କଲାପରି ମାେ କଥା ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଥିଲେ। ଲୋକେ ମାରେ କଥାକୁ ବସନ୍ତଋତୁର ବର୍ଷାଭଳି ପାନ କରୁଥିଲେ।
And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.
24 ମୁଁ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ହସିଲି ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ତାହା ବିଶ୍ବାସ କରିପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ମାରେ ହସ ଦ୍ବାରା ସମାନେେ ଅଧିକ ଖୁସି ଅନୁଭବ କଲେ।
If I laughed on them, they believed it not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down.
25 ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ନେତା ଥିଲେ ବି ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସଙ୍ଗ ରେ ମିଳିମିଶି ରହିବାକୁ ପସନ୍ଦ କରୁଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ସୈନ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଜଣେ ରାଜା ଥିଲି। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଦୁଃଖ ରେ ଥିଲେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ବନା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରୁଥିଲି।
I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners.
