ମୁଁ, ଯିରିମିୟ, ପର୍ବତମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଓ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଚରାସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଁ କବଳେ ବିଳାପ କରିବି। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗୋଳ କରିବି। କାରଣ କହେି ଜୀବନ୍ତ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ସଠାେ ରେ ନ ଥିବେ। କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ୟାତାଯାତ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ପଶୁପଲର ରବ ଶୁଣାୟିବ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ଆକାଶସ୍ଥ ପକ୍ଷୀଗଣ ଓ ଭୂଚର ପଶୁଗଣ ଉଭୟେ ସଠାରୁେ ପଳାଯନ କରିବେ।

କେତକୋଳ ଦେଶ ଶୁଷ୍କ ରହିବ ଓ ସମୁଦାଯ ଦେଶ ରେ ତୃଣ ଶୁଷ୍କ ରହିବ ? ଦେଶର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ଯୋଗୁଁ ପଶୁ ଓ ପକ୍ଷୀସବୁ କ୍ଷଯ ପାଇଛନ୍ତି। କାରଣ ଲୋକମାନେ କହିଲେ, ଯିରିମିୟ ଦୀର୍ଘଦିନ ବଞ୍ଚି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶଷୋବସ୍ଥା ଦେଖିବ ନାହିଁ।

ଅନକେ ମଷେପାଳକ ଆମ୍ଭର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ନଷ୍ଟ କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଭୂମିକୁ ପଦଦଳିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର ମନୋରମ ଭୂମିକୁ ଧ୍ବଂସକରି ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ରେ ପରିଣତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।

ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ଆପଣା ମସ୍ତକର କେଶ କାଟି ପକାଇ ଦିଅ ଓ ବୃକ୍ଷଶୂନ୍ଯ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ଥଳୀ ରେ ବିଳାପ କର। କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି ବଂଶପ୍ରତି କୋରଧଭାବ ଓ ବିମୁଖତା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ଏହି ବଂଶକୁ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ଯ ଓ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ଶସ୍ଯ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଧ୍ବଂସ ହାଇେଛି, ଏପରିକି ଭୂମି ମଧ୍ଯ କାନ୍ଦୁଛି। କାରଣ ଶସ୍ଯସବୁ ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେଛି ଏବଂ ନୂତନ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା ଶୁଖି ୟାଇଛି। ଅଲିଭ ତଲେ ଶଷେ ହାଇୟୋଇଛି।

ମାରେ ଚକ୍ଷୁୟୁଗଳ ଲୋତକରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୁଏ ଓ ଅନ୍ତର ବ୍ଯଥିତ ହୁଏ। ମାରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିନାଶ ହତେୁ ମାରେ ହୃଦଯ ଭୂମିରେ ଢ଼ଳା ହେଲାପରି ଅନୁଭବ କରେ, କାରଣ ନଗରର ପଥ ସମୂହ ରେ ବାଳକ ବାଳିକା ଓ ଦୁଗ୍ଧପୋଷ୍ଯ ଶିଶୁମାନେ ମୂର୍ଚ୍ଛିତ ହାଇେ ପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି।

ଏହିସବୁ ବିଷଯ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କରୁଛି ଓ ମାରେ ଚକ୍ଷୁୟୁଗଳ ଲୋତକପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହାଇେଅଛି। କାରଣ ମାରେ ସାନ୍ତ୍ବନାକାରୀ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଆଶ୍ବାସନା ଦବୋ କଥା, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ମାଠାରୁେ ଦୂ ରଇେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ମାରେ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଅନାଥ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ମାରେଶତ୍ରୁଗଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଉପ ରେ ବିଜଯଲାଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
Jeremiah 23:10
କାରଣ ଯିହୁଦା ପାପୀ ଓ ବ୍ଯଭିଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ସମାନେେ ବହୁ ଭାବରେ ଅବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅଭିଶାପ ଯୋଗୁଁ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରସ୍ଥ ଚାରଣଭୂମି ଶୁଷ୍କ ହାଇେଅଛି। ଦେଶ ଶାେକ କରୁଅଛି। ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାଙ୍କର ବ୍ଯବହାର ଓ ପରାକ୍ରମ ନ୍ଯାଯସଙ୍ଗତ ନୁହେଁ।

ପୁଣି ବନ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭମାନେ ବୃକ୍ଷଶୂନ୍ଯ ଗିରି ଉପ ରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେ ଶୃଗାଳମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ବାଯୁ ସକାେଶ ଧକାନ୍ତି। ତୃଣ ନ ଥିବାରୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଚକ୍ଷୁ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହୁଏ।

ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣ କହିଲେ ନାହିଁ ଯେ, 'ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ, ଯେ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ରେ ମରୁଭୂମି ଓ ଗର୍ତ୍ତମଯ ଦେଶରୁ ଆଉ ନିର୍ଜନ ଓ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଛାଯାରୂପ ଦେଶରୁ, ପୁଣି ପଥିକବିହୀନ ଓ ନିବାସୀଶୂନ୍ଯ ଦେଶ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କଢ଼ାଇ ଆଣିଲେ, ସହେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କାହାଁନ୍ତି ?'
