ସମାନେେ ଏକତ୍ର ଭୋଜନ କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ଇଶମାଯଲେ ଓ ତାର ଦଶଜଣ ସଙ୍ଗୀ ଯିହୁଦାର ଶାସକ ଅହୀକାମର ପୁତ୍ର ଗଦଲିଯକୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ, ଯାହାକୁ ବାବିଳର ରାଜା ଏହି ଭୂମିରେ ଖଣ୍ଡା ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ରେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ।

ଅଥବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶାଫନର ପୌତ୍ର, ଅହୀକାମର ପୁତ୍ର ଗଦଲିଯ ନିକଟକୁ ଫରେିୟାଅ। ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ତାକୁ ଯିହୁଦାର ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ରୂପେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବାସ କର କିଅବା ଯେ କୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ୟିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଛ ସେ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ୟାଅ।

2 Samuel 3:27
ଯେତବେେଳେ ଅବ୍ନର ହିବ୍ରୋଣଠା ରେ ପହଁଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ଯୋୟାବ ତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ନିରୋଳା ରେ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ନଗର ଦ୍ବାର ଭିତରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଇଗେଲେ। ଏବଂ ଯୋୟାବ ଅବ୍ନରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସହେିଠା ରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପଟେ ରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଭୂଷି ମାରି ଦେଲେ। ଅବ୍ନର ଯୋୟାବର ଭାଇ ଅସା ହେଲକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କରିଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ଯୋୟାବ ଅବ୍ନରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।

ମାରେ ଅନ୍ତରଙ୍ଗ ବନ୍ଧୁ ମାେ ସହିତ ଭୋଜନ କଲେ ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ବାସ କଲି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଦେଖ, ସେ ଆଜି ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯାଉଛନ୍ତି।

Psalm 109:5
ମୁଁ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ମଙ୍ଗଳ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲି। ସମାନେେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲେ। ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରମେ କଲି କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ ମାେତେ ଘୃଣା କଲେ।

ଯେତବେେଳେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ଧ୍ବଂସ ହେଲା, ସେତବେେଳେ ଯିହୁଦାର କେତକେ ସନୋପତି, ଅଧିପତି ଓ ଲୋକ ବାହା ରେ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଯେ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ଅହୀକାମର ପୁତ୍ର ଗଦଲିଯକୁ ଦେଶର ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ରୂପେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ବାବିଲକୁ ନିଆୟାଇ ନ ଥିବା ପୁରୁଷ, ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ବାଳକ ଓ ବାଳିକା ଏବଂ ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କର ଭାର ନ୍ଯସ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
