Jeremiah 16:5
ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ଶୋକ ପାଳିତ ହେଉଥିବା ଗୃହକୁ ୟାଅ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବିଳାପ ଓ ଦୁଃଖ ଜଣାଇବାକୁ ୟାଅ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ, ଆମ୍ଭର ସ୍ନହପେୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଣା ଓ ଦୟା କାଢ଼ି ନଇେଛୁ।

ଅନନ୍ତର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାେତେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ଯିରିମିୟ, ଯଦିଓ ମାଶାେ ଓ ଶାମୁଯଲେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଠିଆ ହାଇେ ଯିହୁଦାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି, ତଥାପି ଆମ୍ଭର ମନ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅନୁକୂଳ ନୁହେଁ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଦୂର କର। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ବାହାରି ୟିବାକୁ କୁହ।

ଏହି ଦେଶ ରେ େଛାଟଠାରୁ ବଡ଼ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତେ ମରିବେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହେି କବର ଦବେେ ନାହିଁ କିଅବା ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ କହେି ବିଳାପ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ କହେି ଦୁଃଖ ରେ ଆପଣା ଶରୀର ରେ ଅସ୍ତ୍ରାଘାତ ଓ ମସ୍ତକ ମୁଣ୍ଡନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
Zechariah 8:10
ସହେିଦିନ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ ବତନେ ନଥିଲା, ପଶୁ ପାଇଁ ଆଯ ନଥିଲା, ବାହାରକୁ ୟିବା ଓ ଭିତରକୁ ଆସିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ କୌଣସି ନିରାପତ୍ତା ନଥିଲା, କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ପଡ଼ୋଶୀଙ୍କ ବିପକ୍ଷ କରାଇଥିଲୁ।

ତା'ପରେ ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ଲାଭ ଘାଡ଼ୋ ଆସିଲା। ସହେି ଘୋଡ଼ାର ଆ ରୋହୀଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ବଡ଼ ଖଣ୍ଡା ଦିଆଗଲା। ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜଗତରୁ ଶାନ୍ତି ଲୋପ କରିବାକୁ କ୍ଷମତା ଦିଆଗଲା। ଲୋକମାନେ ଯେପରି ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ମାରି ଦବେେ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ସେ ଅନୁମତି ଓ ଶକ୍ତି ପାଇଲେ।
