Ezekiel 4:16
ତା'ପ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ଯ ପୁତ୍ର, ଆମ୍ଭେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଯୋଗଣ ବନ୍ଦ କରିବା। ସମାନେେ ଉତ୍କଣ୍ଠା ରେ ସୀମିତ ପରିମାଣର ଅନ୍ନ ଭୋଜନ କରିବେ ଓ ମହାଭୟ ରେ ସୀମିତ ପରିମାଣ ରେ ଜଳପାନ କରିବେ।

| the staff | מַטֵּה | maṭṭē | ma-TAY |
| of bread | לֶ֙חֶם֙ | leḥem | LEH-HEM |
| in Jerusalem: | בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם | bîrûšālaim | bee-ROO-sha-la-EEM |
| eat shall they and | וְאָכְלוּ | wĕʾoklû | veh-oke-LOO |
| bread | לֶ֥חֶם | leḥem | LEH-hem |
| by weight, | בְּמִשְׁקָ֖ל | bĕmišqāl | beh-meesh-KAHL |
| care; with and | וּבִדְאָגָ֑ה | ûbidʾāgâ | oo-veed-ah-ɡA |
| drink shall they and | וּמַ֕יִם | ûmayim | oo-MA-yeem |
| water | בִּמְשׂוּרָ֥ה | bimśûrâ | beem-soo-RA |
| by measure, | וּבְשִׁמָּמ֖וֹן | ûbĕšimmāmôn | oo-veh-shee-ma-MONE |
| and with astonishment: | יִשְׁתּֽוּ׃ | yištû | yeesh-TOO |
