Ezekiel 35:11
ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଈର୍ଷା କରିଅଛ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ଘୃଣାଭାବ ରଖିଅଛ। ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁପରି କୋରଧ ଓ ଈର୍ଷା ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି କରିଅଛ ମୁଁ ସହେି ଅନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର କରିବି। ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧିଅରେ ମୁଁ ଅଛି ବୋଲି ସମାନେେ ଜାଣିବେ।

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କୁହନ୍ତି: ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଦୋମର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ଦଣ୍ତ ଦବୋ କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ବହୁ ଅପରାଧ ରେ ଲିପ୍ତ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖଡ୍ଗଧରି ଗୋଡାଇଲେ। ଏବଂ ଟିକିଏ ହେଲେ ଦୟା ଦଖାଇେ ନଥିଲେ। ଇଦୋମ ନିଜର କୋରଧ ଚିରଦିନ ପାଇଁ ରଖିଲେ ଏବଂ ନିଜର କୋର୍ଧ ବନ୍ଦ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାଙ୍କୁ ସମାନେେ ବନ୍ଯପ୍ରାଣୀ ସଦୃଶ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ।

James 2:13
