Ezekiel 19:4
ନାନା ଦେଶୀଯମାନେ ତାହା ବିଷଯ ରେ ଶୁଣିଲେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ତାକୁ ୟନ୍ତା ରେ ଧରିଲେ। ସମାନେେ ତା' ପାଟି ରେ ଆଙ୍କୁଶ ଦଇେ ତାହାକୁ ମିଶରକୁ ଆଣିଲେ।

ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଯିହୁଦାକୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ। ସେ ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମ୍ଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ନେଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପିତ୍ତଳର ଜଞ୍ଜିର ପକାଇଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମଙ୍କୁ ବାବିଲକୁ ନଇଗେଲେ।

ଯେ ହତେୁ ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯୋଶିୟର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲମ୍ ଯେ ଆପଣା ପିତା ଯୋଶିୟର ପଦ ରେ ରାଜତ୍ବ କଲା ଓ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ବାହାରି ଗଲା। ତାହାର ବିଷଯ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କହନ୍ତି, ସେ ଆଉ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଫରେିବ ନାହିଁ।

ଯିହାୟୋଦାରହସ୍ ଯେତବେେଳେ ରାଜା ହେଲେ ସେତବେେଳେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ତଇେଶି ବର୍ଷ ହାଇେଥିଲା। ସେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ତିନିମାସ ରାଜତ୍ବ କଲେ। ତାଙ୍କର ମାତାଙ୍କ ନାମ ହମୁଟଲ୍, ସେ ଲିବ୍ନା ନିବାସୀ ୟିରମିଯର କନ୍ଯା ଥିଲେ।
Jeremiah 22:18
ଏଣୁ ଯୋଶିୟର ପୁତ୍ର ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ୟିହୋଯାକୀମ ବିଷଯ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଯିହୁଦାର ଲୋକମାନେ, 'ହାୟ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଭାଇ ! ଅବା ହାୟ, ଆମ୍ଭ ଭଉଣୀ ବୋଲି ଡ଼ାକି ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବିଳାପ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।ହାୟ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ହାୟ ତାଙ୍କର ମହିମା ! ଏହା କହି ଲୋକେ ତାହା ପାଇଁବିଳାପ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।
