1 Kings 8:21
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିଶର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିବା ବେଳେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଯେଉଁ ନିଯମ କରିଥିଲେ ତାହା ଏହି ନିଯମ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ମଧିଅରେ ଅଛି। ସହେି ନିଯମ ସିନ୍ଦୁକକୁ ରଖିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ରେ ନିରୂପଣ କରିଅଛି।

ସହେି ପବିତ୍ର ସିନ୍ଦୁକରେ କବଳେ ଦୁଇଟି ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଫଳକ ଥିଲା। ହାରେବେ ନିକଟରେ ମାଶାେ ଏହି ଫଳକ ଦୁଇଟିକୁ ରଖିଥିଲେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମିଶର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସିଥିଲେ। ସେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି ହାରେବେ ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ନିଯମ କରିଥିଲେ।
Exodus 34:28
ମାଶାେ ସଠାେରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିନ ଓ ଚାଳିଶ ରାତି ରହିଲେ. ମାଶାେ କୌଣସି ଖାଦ୍ୟ କିମ୍ବା ପାନୀଯ ସଠାେରେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଏବଂ ସେ ଚୁକ୍ତିର ବାକ୍ଯସବୁ ସହେି ଦଶଆଜ୍ଞା ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଫଳକରେ ଖୋଦିତ କଲେ।

ଯେତବେେଳେ ମୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରଦ୍ବଯ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କୃତ ନିଯମର ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଫଳକ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପର୍ବତ ଉପରକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲି। ସେତବେେଳେ ମୁ ପର୍ବତ ରେ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିନ ଓ ଚାଳିଶ ରାତି ରହିଲି, ମୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ କିଅବା ଜଳପାନ ମଧ୍ଯ କଲିନାହିଁ।

ଆଉ ଚାଳିଶ ଦିନ ଓ ଚାଳିଶ ରାତ୍ରିର ଶଷେ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସହେି ଦକ୍ସ୍ଟଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତରଫଳକ, ଅର୍ଥାତ ନିଯମର ପ୍ରସ୍ତରଫଳକ ମାେତେ ଦେଲେ।

ରାଜା ଶଲୋମନ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକେ ନିଯମ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହେଲେ ଓ ଅନକେ ଗାଈ ଓ ମଷେ, ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସଂଖ୍ଯା ଅଗଣନ ଥିଲା।
