कुरेनीका एकजना मानिस शहरतिर जाँदै थिए। उनी आलेक्जेण्डर र रूफसको बाबू शिमोन थिए। शिमोन आफ्नो खेतबाट र्फकिरहेथ्यो। सिपाहीहरूले शिमोनलाई येशूको क्रूस बोक्न जबरजस्ती गरे।
