अनि हामानले राजालाई भने, “तपाईंको राज्यको प्रत्येक प्रान्तमा मानिसहरू माझ एक थरिका मानिसहरू छरिएका अनि छुट्टीएका छन्। अनि तिनीहरूको दस्तुर सबै मानिसहरूको दस्तुर भन्दा भिन्नैछ। तिनीहरू राजाको नियमहरू मान्दैनन्, राजालाई त्यो कुरा अशैय भयो।

பின்பு கர்த்தர் செயல்த்தியேலின் மகனாகிய செருபாபேல் என்னும் யூதாவின் தலைவனுடைய ஆவியையும், யோத்சதாக்கின் மகனாகிய யோசுவா என்னும் பிரதான ஆசாரியனுடைய ஆவியையும் மக்களில் மீதியான எல்லோருடைய ஆவியையும் எழுப்பினார்; அவர்கள் வந்து, தங்கள் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளுடைய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்திலே வேலைசெய்தார்கள்.

பிறகு தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஜனங்கள் ஆலயம் கட்டுவதைக் குறித்து உற்சாகப்படும்படிச் செய்தார். செயல்த்தியேலின் மகனாகிய செருபாபேல் யூதாவின் ஆளுநராக இருந்தான். கர்த்தர் அவனையும் பரவசப்படும்படிச் செய்தார். யோத்சதாக்கின் மகனான யோசுவா தலைமை ஆசாரியனாக இருந்தான். கர்த்தர் அவனையும் பரவசப்படும்படிச் செய்தார். கர்த்தர் அனைத்து ஜனங்களையும் ஆலயம் கட்டு வதுபற்றி பரவசப்படும்படிச் செய்தார். எனவே அவர்களின் சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு ஆலயம் கட்டத்தொடங்கினார்கள்.
