Psalm 124
1 मलाई जवाफ देऊ, इस्राएल हामी माथि कस्तो घटना घट्ने थियो होला। यदि परमप्रभु हाम्रो पक्षमा नभई दिएको भए?
2 जब मानिसहरूले हामीलाई आक्रमण गरे त्यस समय यदि परमप्रभु हाम्रो पक्षमा नभएको भए के हुने थियो?
3 हाम्रा शत्रुहरूले हामीलाई जिउँदै निल्ने थिए, जब तिनीहरू हामीमा क्रोधित हुनेगर्थे।
4 हाम्रो शत्रुहरूका सैनिकहरूले हामीलाई बाढीले बगाए झै र नदीले हामीलाई डुबाए झै पार्ने थिए।
5 ती अंहकारी मानिसहरू हाम्रा मुख-मुख सम्म उठूने पानी भए हामीलाई डुबाउने थियो।
6 परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर! हाम्रा शत्रुहरूले हामीलाई पक्रन र मार्न परमप्रभुले कदापि दिनुहुन्न।
7 हामी जालमा फस्न पुगेका चरा जस्तै छौ अथवा यस्तो भएर मुक्ति पाएका छौं। जाल फाट्यो अनि हामी मुक्त भयौ!
8 हाम्रो निम्ति सहायता परमप्रभुबाट आउँदछ। परमप्रभुले आकाश र पृथ्वी बनाउनु भयो!

4 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
5 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
6 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
7 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
8 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
9 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2 जब मानिसहरूले हामीलाई आक्रमण गरे त्यस समय यदि परमप्रभु हाम्रो पक्षमा नभएको भए के हुने थियो?
If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
3 हाम्रा शत्रुहरूले हामीलाई जिउँदै निल्ने थिए, जब तिनीहरू हामीमा क्रोधित हुनेगर्थे।

Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 हामी जालमा फस्न पुगेका चरा जस्तै छौ अथवा यस्तो भएर मुक्ति पाएका छौं। जाल फाट्यो अनि हामी मुक्त भयौ!
Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 हाम्रो निम्ति सहायता परमप्रभुबाट आउँदछ। परमप्रभुले आकाश र पृथ्वी बनाउनु भयो!
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
