1 Samuel 13:12
मैले सोचें, पलिश्तीहरू यहाँ गिलगालमा आएर मलाई आक्रमण गर्नेछन्। मैले अहिलेसम्म परमप्रभुलाई सहायताको निम्ति बिन्ती पनि गरिन। अन्त्यमा बाध्य भएर मैले होमबलि चढाएँ।”‘

| me to Gilgal, | הַגִּלְגָּ֔ל | haggilgāl | ha-ɡeel-ɡAHL |
| not have I and | וּפְנֵ֥י | ûpĕnê | oo-feh-NAY |
| made supplication | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| unto | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| the Lord: | חִלִּ֑יתִי | ḥillîtî | hee-LEE-tee |
| myself forced I | וָֽאֶתְאַפַּ֔ק | wāʾetʾappaq | va-et-ah-PAHK |
| therefore, and offered | וָאַֽעֲלֶ֖ה | wāʾaʿăle | va-ah-uh-LEH |
