1 சீரிய ராஜாவின் படைத்தலைவனாகிய நாகமான் என்பவன் தன் ஆண்டவனிடத்தில் பெரிய மனுஷனும் எண்ணிக்கையுள்ளவனுமாயிருந்தான்; அவனைக் கொண்டு கர்த்தர் சீரியாவுக்கு இரட்சிப்பைக் கட்டளையிட்டார்; மகா பராக்கிரமசாலியாகிய அவனோ குஷ்டரோகியாயிருந்தான். Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valor, but he was a leper.

2 சீரியாவிலிருந்து தண்டுகள் புறப்பட்டு, இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்திலிருந்து ஒரு சிறு பெண்ணைச் சிறைபிட்டித்துக்கொண்டு வந்திருந்தார்கள்; அவள் நாகமானின் மனைவிக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்துகொண்டிருந்தாள். And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.

3 அவள் தன் நாச்சியாரைப் பார்த்து: என் ஆண்டவன் சமாரியாவிலிருக்கிற தீர்க்கதரிசியினிடத்தில் போவாரானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; அவர் இவருடைய குஷ்டரோகத்தை நீக்கிவிடுவார் என்றாள். And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.

4 அப்பொழுது அவன் போய், இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்துப் பெண் இன்ன இன்ன பிரகாரமாய்ச் சொல்லுகிறாள் என்று தன் ஆண்டவனிடத்தில் அறிவித்தான். And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.

5 அப்பொழுது சீரியாவின் ராஜா: நல்லது போகலாம், இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவுக்கு நிருபம் தருகிறேன் என்றான்; அப்படியே அவன் தன் கையிலே பத்துத் தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும், ஆறாயிரம் சேக்கல் நிறைபொன்னையும், பத்து மாற்றுவஸ்திரங்களையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.

6 இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவிடத்தில் அந்த நிருபத்தைக் கொடுத்தான். அதிலே: இந்த நிருபத்தை உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய நாகமான் கொண்டுவருவான்; நீர் அவன் குஷ்டரோகத்தை நீக்கி விட அவனை உம்மிடத்தில் அனுப்பியிருக்கிறேன் என்று எழுதியிருந்தது. And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.

7 இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா அந்த நிருபத்தை வாசித்தபோது, அவன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு: ஒரு மனுஷனை அவன் குஷ்டரோகத்தினின்று நீக்கி விடவேண்டும் என்று, அவன் என்னிடத்தில் நிருபம் அனுப்புகிறதற்கு, கொல்லவும் உயிர்ப்பிக்கவும் நான் தேவனா? இவன் என்னை விரோதிக்க சமயம் தேடுகிறான் என்பதைச் சிந்தித்துப்பாருங்கள் என்றான். And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.

8 இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜா தன் வஸ்திரங்களைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்ட செய்தியை தேவனுடைய மனுஷனாகிய எலிசா கேட்டபோது, அவன்: நீர் உம்முடைய வஸ்திரங்களைக் கிழித்துக்கொள்வானேன்? அவன் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து, இஸ்ரவேலிலே தீர்க்கதரிசி உண்டென்பதை அறிந்துகொள்ளட்டும் என்று ராஜாவுக்குச் சொல்லியனுப்பினான். And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.

9 அப்படியே நாகமான் தன் குதிரைகளோடும் தன் இரதத்தோடும் வந்து எலிசாவின் வாசற்படியிலே நின்றான். So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

10 அப்பொழுது எலிசா: அவனிடத்தில் ஆள் அனுப்பி, நீ போய், யோர்தானில் ஏழுதரம் ஸ்நானம்பண்ணு; அப்பொழுது உன் மாம்சம் மாறி, நீ சுத்தமாவாய் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான். And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

11 அதற்கு நாகமான் கடுங்கோபங்கொண்டு, புறப்பட்டுப்போய்: அவன் வெளியே வந்து நின்று, தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் தொழுது, தன் கையினால் அந்த இடத்தைத் தடவி, இவ்விதமாய்க் குஷ்டரோகத்தை நீக்கிவிடுவான் என்று எனக்குள் நினைத்திருந்தேன். But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

12 நான் ஸ்நானம்பண்ணிச் சுத்தமாகிறதற்கு இஸ்ரவேலின் தண்ணீர்கள் எல்லாவற்றைப்பார்க்கிலும் தமஸ்குவின் நதிகளாகிய ஆப்னாவும் பர்பாரும் நல்லதல்லவோ என்று சொல்லி, உக்கிரத்தோடே திரும்பிப் போனான். Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.

13 அவன் ஊழியக்காரர் சமீபத்தில் வந்து, அவனை நோக்கி: தகப்பனே, அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசி ஒரு பெரிய காரியத்தைச் செய்ய உமக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்தால் அதை நீர் செய்வீர் அல்லவா? ஸ்நானம் பண்ணும், அப்பொழுது சுத்தமாவீர் என்று அவர் உம்மோடே சொல்லும் போது, அதைச் செய்யவேண்டியது எத்தனை அதிகம் என்று சொன்னார்கள். And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

14 அப்பொழுது அவன் இறங்கி, தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் வார்த்தையின்படியே யோர்தானில் ஏழுதரம் முழுகினபோது, அவன் மாம்சம் ஒரு சிறுபிள்ளையின் மாம்சத்தைப்போல மாறி, அவன் சுத்தமானான். Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

15 அப்பொழுது அவன் தன் கூட்டத்தோடெல்லாம் தேவனுடைய மனுஷனிடத்துக்குத் திரும்பிவந்து, அவனுக்கு முன்பாக நின்று: இதோ, இஸ்ரவேலிலிருக்கிற தேவனைத்தவிர பூமியெங்கும் வேறே தேவன் இல்லை என்பதை அறிந்தேன்; இப்போதும் உமது அடியேன் கையில் ஒரு காணிக்கை வாங்கிக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றான். And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

16 அதற்கு அவன்: நான் வாங்குகிறதில்லை என்று கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக அவருடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றான்; வாங்கவேண்டும் என்று அவனை வருந்தினாலும் தட்டுதல் பண்ணிவிட்டான். But he said, As the LORD liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.

17 அப்பொழுது நாகமான்: ஆனாலும் இரண்டு கோவேறு கழுதைகள் சுமக்கத்தக்க இரண்டு பொதி மண் உமது அடியேனுக்குக் கட்டளையிடவேண்டும்; உமது அடியேன் இனிக் கர்த்தருக்கே அல்லாமல், அந்நிய தேவர்களுக்குச் சர்வாங்க தகனத்தையும் பலியையும் செலுத்துவதில்லை. And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD.

18 ஒரு காரியத்தையே கர்த்தர் உமது அடியேனுக்கு மன்னிப்பாராக; என் ஆண்டவன் பணிந்துகொள்ள நிம்மோன் கோவிலுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, நான் அவருக்குக் கைலாகு கொடுத்து நிம்மோன் கோவிலிலே பணியவேண்டியதாகும்; இப்படி ரிம்மோன் கோவிலில் நான் பணிய வேண்டிய இந்தக் காரியத்தைக் கர்த்தர் உமது அடியேனுக்கு மன்னிப்பாராக என்றான். In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.

19 அதற்கு அவன்: சமாதானத்தோடேபோ என்றான்; இவன் புறப்பட்டுக் கொஞ்சதூரம் போனபோது, And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way.

20 தேவனுடைய மனுஷனாகிய எலிசாவின் வேலைக்காரன் கேயாசி என்பவன், அந்தச் சீரியனாகிய நாகமான் கொண்டு வந்ததை என் ஆண்டவன் அவன் கையிலே வாங்காமல் அவனை விட்டுவிட்டார்; நான் அவன் பிறகே ஓடி, அவன் கையிலே ஏதாகிலும் வாங்குவேன் என்று கர்த்தருடைய ஜீவன்மேல் ஆணையிட்டு, But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

21 நாகமானைப் பின் தொடர்ந்தான்; அவன் தன் பிறகே ஓடிவருகிறதை நாகமான் கண்டபோது, அவனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டு போக இரத்தத்திலிருந்து குதித்து: சுகசெய்தியா என்று கேட்டான். So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?

22 அதற்கு அவன்: சுகசெய்திதான்; தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் புத்திரரில் இரண்டு வாலிபர் இப்பொழுதுதான் எப்பிராயீம் மலைத்தேசத்திலிருந்து என்னிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்; அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும், இரண்டு மாற்றுவஸ்திரங்களையும் தரவேண்டும் என்று கேட்க, என் எஜமான் என்னை அனுப்பினார் என்றான். And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.

23 அதற்கு நாகமான்: தயவுசெய்து, இரண்டு தாலந்தை வாங்கிக்கொள் என்று சொல்லி, அவனை வருந்தி, இரண்டு தாலந்து வெள்ளியை இரண்டு கைகளில் இரண்டு மாற்று வஸ்திரங்களோடே கட்டி, அவனுக்கு முன்பாகச் சுமந்து போக, தன் வேலைக்காரரான இரண்டு பேர்மேல் வைத்தான். And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.

24 அவன் மேட்டண்டைக்கு வந்தபோது, அவன் அதை அவர்கள் கையிலிருந்து வாங்கி, வீட்டிலே வைத்து, அந்த மனுஷரை அனுப்பிவிட்டான்; அவர்கள் போய்விட்டார்கள். And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.

25 பின்பு அவன் உள்ளே போய்த் தன் எஜமானுக்கு முன்பாக நின்றான்; கேயாசியே, எங்கேயிருந்து வந்தாய் என்று எலிசா அவனைக் கேட்டதற்கு, அவன்: உமது அடியான் எங்கும் போகவில்லை என்றான். But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.

26 அப்பொழுது அவன் இவனைப் பார்த்து: அந்த மனுஷன் உனக்கு எதிர் கொண்டுவர தன் இரதத்திலிருந்து இறங்கித் திரும்புகிறபோது என் மனம் உன்னுடன்கூடச் செல்லவில்லையா? பணத்தை வாங்குகிறதற்கும், வஸ்திரங்களையும் ஒலிவத்தோப்புகளையும் திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களையும் ஆடுமாடுகளைϠρம் வேலைக்காரΰையும் வேலைக்காரிகளையும் வாங்குகிறதற்கும் இது காலமா? And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?

27 ஆகையால் நாகமானின் குஷ்டரோகம் உன்னையும் உன் சந்ததியாரையும் என்றைக்கும் பிடித்திருக்கும் என்றான்; உடனே அவன் உறைந்த மழை நிறமான குஷ்டரோகியாகி, அவன் சமுகத்தை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப் போனான். The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

1 Seeriya raajaavin pataiththalaivanaakiya naakamaan enpavan than aanndavanidaththil periya manushanum ennnnikkaiyullavanumaayirunthaan; avanaik konndu Karththar seeriyaavukku iratchippaik kattalaiyittar; makaa paraakkiramasaaliyaakiya avano kushdarokiyaayirunthaan. Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valor, but he was a leper.

2 Seeriyaavilirunthu thanndukal purappattu, Israel thaesaththilirunthu oru siraு pennnnaich siraipittiththukkonndu vanthirunthaarkal; aval naakamaanin manaivikkup pannivitai seythukonntirunthaal. And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.

3 Aval than naachchiyaaraip paarththu: en aanndavan samaariyaavilirukkira theerkkatharisiyinidaththil povaaraanaal nalamaayirukkum; avar ivarutaiya kushdarokaththai neekkividuvaar ental. And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.

4 Appoluthu avan poy, Israel thaesaththup penn inna inna pirakaaramaaych sollukiraal entu than aanndavanidaththil ariviththaan. And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.

5 Appoluthu seeriyaavin raajaa: nallathu pokalaam, isravaelin raajaavukku nirupam tharukiraேn entan; appatiyae avan than kaiyilae paththuth thaalanthu velliyaiyum, aaraayiram sekkal niraiponnaiyum, paththu maattaுvasthirangalaiyum eduththukkonndupoy, And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.

6 Isravaelin raajaavidaththil antha nirupaththaik koduththaan. Athilae: intha nirupaththai ummidaththil en ooliyakkaaranaakiya naakamaan konnduvaruvaan; neer avan kushdarokaththai neekki vida avanai ummidaththil anuppiyirukkiraேn entu eluthiyirunthathu. And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.

7 Isravaelin raajaa antha nirupaththai vaasiththapothu, avan than vasthirangalaik kiliththukkonndu: oru manushanai avan kushdarokaththinintu neekki vidavaenndum entu, avan ennidaththil nirupam anuppukiratharku, kollavum uyirppikkavum naan thaevanaa? Ivan ennai virothikka samayam thaedukiraan enpathaich sinthiththuppaarungal entan. And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.

8 Isravaelin raajaa than vasthirangalaik kiliththukkonnda seythiyai thaevanutaiya manushanaakiya elisaa kaettapothu, avan: neer ummutaiya vasthirangalaik kiliththukkolvaanaen? Avan ennidaththil vanthu, isravaelilae theerkkatharisi unndenpathai arinthukollattum entu raajaavukkuch solliyanuppinaan. And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.

9 Appatiyae naakamaan than kuthiraikalodum than irathaththodum vanthu elisaavin vaasarpatiyilae nintan. So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

10 Appoluthu elisaa: avanidaththil aal anuppi, nee poy, yorthaanil aelutharam snaanampannnu; appoluthu un maamsam maari, nee suththamaavaay entu sollachchaொnnaan. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

11 Atharku naakamaan kadungaோpangaொnndu, purappattuppoy: avan veliyae vanthu nintu, than thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya naamaththaith tholuthu, than kaiyinaal antha idaththaith thadavi, ivvithamaayk kushdarokaththai neekkividuvaan entu enakkul ninaiththirunthaen. But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

12 Naan snaanampannnnich suththamaakiratharku isravaelin thannnneerkal ellaavattaைppaarkkilum thamaskuvin nathikalaakiya aapnaavum parpaarum nallathallavo entu solli, ukkiraththotae thirumpip ponaan. Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.

13 Avan ooliyakkaarar sameepaththil vanthu, avanai Nnokki: thakappanae, anthath theerkkatharisi oru periya kaariyaththaich seyya umakkuch solliyirunthaal athai neer seyveer allavaa? Snaanam pannnum, appoluthu suththamaaveer entu avar ummotae sollum pothu, athaich seyyavaenntiyathu eththanai athikam entu sonnaarkal. And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

14 Appoluthu avan irangi, thaevanutaiya manushan vaarththaiyinpatiyae yorthaanil aelutharam mulukinapothu, avan maamsam oru siraுpillaiyin maamsaththaippola maari, avan suththamaanaan. Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

15 Appoluthu avan than koottaththodellaam thaevanutaiya manushanidaththukkuth thirumpivanthu, avanukku munpaaka nintu: itho, isravaelilirukkira thaevanaiththavira poomiyengum vaeraே Dhevan illai enpathai arinthaen; ippothum umathu atiyaen kaiyil oru kaannikkai vaangikkolla vaenndum entan. And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

16 Atharku avan: naan vaangukirathillai entu karththarukku munpaaka avarutaiya jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn entan; vaangavaenndum entu avanai varunthinaalum thattuthal pannnnivittan. But he said, As the LORD liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.

17 Appoluthu naakamaan: aanaalum iranndu kovaeraு kaluthaikal sumakkaththakka iranndu pothi mann umathu atiyaenukkuk kattalaiyidavaenndum; umathu atiyaen inik karththarukkae allaamal, anniya thaevarkalukkuch sarvaanga thakanaththaiyum paliyaiyum seluththuvathillai. And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD.

18 Oru kaariyaththaiyae Karththar umathu atiyaenukku mannippaaraaka; en aanndavan panninthukolla nimmon kovilukkul piravaesikkumpothu, naan avarukkuk kailaaku koduththu nimmon kovililae panniyavaenntiyathaakum; ippati rimmon kovilil naan panniya vaenntiya inthak kaariyaththaik Karththar umathu atiyaenukku mannippaaraaka entan. In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.

19 Atharku avan: samaathaanaththotaepo entan; ivan purappattuk konjathooram ponapothu, And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way.

20 Thaevanutaiya manushanaakiya elisaavin vaelaikkaaran kaeyaasi enpavan, anthach seeriyanaakiya naakamaan konndu vanthathai en aanndavan avan kaiyilae vaangaamal avanai vittuvittar; naan avan pirakae oti, avan kaiyilae aethaakilum vaanguvaen entu karththarutaiya jeevanmael aannaiyittu, But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

21 Naakamaanaip pin thodarnthaan; avan than pirakae otivarukirathai naakamaan kanndapothu, avanukku ethirkonndu poka iraththaththilirunthu kuthiththu: sukaseythiyaa entu kaettan. So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?

22 Atharku avan: sukaseythithaan; theerkkatharisikalin puththiraril iranndu vaalipar ippoluthuthaan eppiraayeem malaiththaesaththilirunthu ennidaththil vanthaarkal; avarkalukku oru thaalanthu velliyaiyum, iranndu maattaுvasthirangalaiyum tharavaenndum entu kaetka, en ejamaan ennai anuppinaar entan. And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.

23 Atharku naakamaan: thayavuseythu, iranndu thaalanthai vaangikkol entu solli, avanai varunthi, iranndu thaalanthu velliyai iranndu kaikalil iranndu maattaு vasthirangalotae katti, avanukku munpaakach sumanthu poka, than vaelaikkaararaana iranndu paermael vaiththaan. And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.

24 Avan maettanntaikku vanthapothu, avan athai avarkal kaiyilirunthu vaangi, veettilae vaiththu, antha manusharai anuppivittan; avarkal poyvittarkal. And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.

25 Pinpu avan ullae poyth than ejamaanukku munpaaka nintan; kaeyaasiyae, engaeyirunthu vanthaay entu elisaa avanaik kaettatharku, avan: umathu atiyaan engum pokavillai entan. But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.

26 Appoluthu avan ivanaip paarththu: antha manushan unakku ethir konnduvara than irathaththilirunthu irangith thirumpukirapothu en manam unnudankoodach sellavillaiyaa? Panaththai vaangukiratharkum, vasthirangalaiyum olivaththoppukalaiyum thiraatchaththottangalaiyum aadumaadukalaiϠρm vaelaikkaaraΰைyum vaelaikkaarikalaiyum vaangukiratharkum ithu kaalamaa? And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?

27 Aakaiyaal naakamaanin kushdarokam unnaiyum un santhathiyaaraiyum entaikkum pitiththirukkum entan; udanae avan uraintha malai niramaana kushdarokiyaaki, avan samukaththai vittup purappattup ponaan. The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.
