அவர் திரளான ஜனங்களைக் கண்டு மலையின் மேல் ஏறினார்; அவர் உட்கார்ந்தபொழுது, அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் அவரிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்.

“தேவனிடமிருந்து திருடுவதை நிறுத்துங்கள். ஜனங்கள் தேவனிடமிருந்து திருடக்கூடாது. ஆனால் நீங்கள் என்னிடமிருந்து திருடினீர்கள்!” நீங்கள், “நாங்கள் உம்மிடமிருந்து எதைத் திருடினோம்?” என்று கேட்கிறீர்கள். “நீங்கள் உங்களது பொருட்களில் பத்தில் ஒரு பங்கை எனக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்க வேண்டும். நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சிறப்பான காணிக்கைகளையையும் கொடுத்திருக்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் நீங்கள் அவற்றை எனக்குக் கொடுக்கவில்லை.
