Nehemiah 9:32
ആകയാൽ ദൈവമേ, നിയമവും കൃപയും പാലിക്കുന്നവനായി വലിയവനും ബലവാനും ഭയങ്കരനുമായ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമേ, അശ്ശൂർരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ കാലംമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാർക്കും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കും പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും പ്രവാചകന്മാർക്കും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കും നിന്റെ സർവ്വജനത്തിന്നും നേരിട്ട കഷ്ടങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നിനക്കു ലഘുവായി തോന്നരുതേ.

| mercy, and | וְהַחֶסֶד֒ | wĕhaḥesed | veh-ha-heh-SED |
| let not | אַל | ʾal | al |
| יִמְעַ֣ט | yimʿaṭ | yeem-AT | |
| all | לְפָנֶ֡יךָ | lĕpānêkā | leh-fa-NAY-ha |
| the trouble | אֵ֣ת | ʾēt | ate |
| little seem | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| before | הַתְּלָאָ֣ה | hattĕlāʾâ | ha-teh-la-AH |
| thee, that | אֲֽשֶׁר | ʾăšer | UH-sher |
| hath come upon | מְ֠צָאַתְנוּ | mĕṣāʾatnû | MEH-tsa-at-noo |
| kings, our on us, | לִמְלָכֵ֨ינוּ | limlākênû | leem-la-HAY-noo |
| on our princes, | לְשָׂרֵ֧ינוּ | lĕśārênû | leh-sa-RAY-noo |
| priests, our on and | וּלְכֹֽהֲנֵ֛ינוּ | ûlĕkōhănênû | oo-leh-hoh-huh-NAY-noo |
| and on our prophets, | וְלִנְבִיאֵ֥נוּ | wĕlinbîʾēnû | veh-leen-vee-A-noo |
| fathers, our on and | וְלַֽאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּ | wĕlaʾăbōtênû | veh-la-uh-voh-TAY-noo |
| and on all | וּלְכָל | ûlĕkāl | oo-leh-HAHL |
| thy people, | עַמֶּ֑ךָ | ʿammekā | ah-MEH-ha |
| time the since | מִימֵי֙ | mîmēy | mee-MAY |
| of the kings | מַלְכֵ֣י | malkê | mahl-HAY |
