സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 1

1 ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ആലോചനപ്രകാരം നടക്കാതെയും പാപികളുടെ വഴിയിൽ നിൽക്കാതെയും പരിഹാസികളുടെ ഇരിപ്പിടത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കാതെയും

2 യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചു അവന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ രാപ്പകൽ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നവൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

3 അവൻ, ആറ്റരികത്തു നട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും തക്കകാലത്തു ഫലം കായ്ക്കുന്നതും ഇലവാടാത്തതുമായ വൃക്ഷംപോലെ ഇരിക്കും; അവൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതൊക്കെയും സാധിക്കും.

4 ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ അങ്ങനെയല്ല; അവർ കാറ്റു പാറ്റുന്ന പതിർപോലെയത്രേ.

5 ആകയാൽ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിലും പാപികൾ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ സഭയിലും നിവർന്നു നിൽക്കുകയില്ല.

6 യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ വഴി അറിയുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വഴിയോ നാശകരം ആകുന്നു.

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
