നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള പരദേശിയോ അന്യനോ സമ്പന്നനാകയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കലുള്ള നിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ദരിദ്രനായ്തീർന്നു തന്നെത്താൻ അന്യന്നോ പരദേശിക്കോ അന്യന്റെ സന്തതിക്കോ വിൽക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ

| and thy brother | וּמָ֥ךְ | ûmāk | oo-MAHK |
| that dwelleth by | אָחִ֖יךָ | ʾāḥîkā | ah-HEE-ha |
| poor, wax him | עִמּ֑וֹ | ʿimmô | EE-moh |
| and sell himself | וְנִמְכַּ֗ר | wĕnimkar | veh-neem-KAHR |
| unto the stranger | לְגֵ֤ר | lĕgēr | leh-ɡARE |
| or sojourner | תּוֹשָׁב֙ | tôšāb | toh-SHAHV |
| by | עִמָּ֔ךְ | ʿimmāk | ee-MAHK |
