അതു തിന്നുന്നവൻ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കും; യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായതു അവൻ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയല്ലോ; അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

| he hath profaned | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| קֹ֥דֶשׁ | qōdeš | KOH-desh | |
| thing hallowed the | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| of the Lord: | חִלֵּ֑ל | ḥillēl | hee-LALE |
| and that | וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה | wĕnikrĕtâ | veh-neek-reh-TA |
| soul | הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ | hannepeš | ha-NEH-fesh |
| off cut be shall | הַהִ֖וא | hahiw | ha-HEEV |
| from among his people. | מֵֽעַמֶּֽיהָ׃ | mēʿammêhā | MAY-ah-MAY-ha |
