ശമൂവേൽ-1 9:14
അങ്ങനെ അവർ പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെന്നു; പട്ടണത്തിൽ കടന്നപ്പോൾ ഇതാ, ശമൂവേൽ പൂജാഗിരിക്കു പോകുവാനായി അവരുടെ നേരെ വരുന്നു.

| city, the | הָעִ֔יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| behold, | וְהִנֵּ֤ה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| Samuel | שְׁמוּאֵל֙ | šĕmûʾēl | sheh-moo-ALE |
| came out | יֹצֵ֣א | yōṣēʾ | yoh-TSAY |
| against | לִקְרָאתָ֔ם | liqrāʾtām | leek-ra-TAHM |
| up go to for them, | לַֽעֲל֖וֹת | laʿălôt | la-uh-LOTE |
| to the high place. | הַבָּמָֽה׃ | habbāmâ | ha-ba-MA |
