എന്നാറെ യിസ്രായേല്യർ: വന്നു നില്ക്കുന്ന ഇവനെ കണ്ടുവോ? അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിനെ നിന്ദിപ്പാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവനെ രാജാവു മഹാസമ്പന്നനാക്കുകയും തന്റെ മകളെ അവന്നു കൊടുക്കുകയും അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്നു യിസ്രായേലിൽ കരമൊഴിവു കല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

| up? come is that | הַזֶּ֔ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| surely | כִּ֛י | kî | kee |
| to defy | לְחָרֵ֥ף | lĕḥārēp | leh-ha-RAFE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| Israel | יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| up: come he is | עֹלֶ֑ה | ʿōle | oh-LEH |
| and it shall be, | וְֽ֠הָיָה | wĕhāyâ | VEH-ha-ya |
| man the that | הָאִ֨ישׁ | hāʾîš | ha-EESH |

| killeth | יַכֶּ֜נּוּ | yakkennû | ya-KEH-noo |

| enrich will | הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ׀ | hammelek | ha-MEH-lek |
| him with great | עֹ֣שֶׁר | ʿōšer | OH-sher |
| riches, | גָּד֗וֹל | gādôl | ɡa-DOLE |
| give will and | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| him his daughter, | בִּתּוֹ֙ | bittô | bee-TOH |
| and make | יִתֶּן | yitten | yee-TEN |
