അപ്പോൾ പിശാചു അവനോടു: നീ ദൈവ പുത്രൻ എങ്കിൽ ഈ കല്ലിനോടു അപ്പമായി ത്തീരുവാൻ കല്പിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
