Job 12
1 അതിന്നു ഇയ്യോബ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 ഓഹോ, നിങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു വിദ്വജ്ജനം! നിങ്ങൾ മരിച്ചാൽ ജ്ഞാനം മരിക്കും.
3 നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ എനിക്കും ബുദ്ധി ഉണ്ടു; നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ ഞാൻ അധമനല്ല; ആർക്കാകുന്നു ഈവക അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതു?
4 ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചു ഉത്തരം ലഭിച്ച ഞാൻ എന്റെ സഖിക്കു പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീർന്നു; നീതിമാനും നഷ്കളങ്കനുമായവൻ തന്നേ പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീർന്നു.
5 വിപത്തു നിന്ദ്യം എന്നു സുഖിയന്റെ വിചാരം; കാൽ ഇടറുന്നവർക്കു അതു ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങൾ ശുഭമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ നിർഭയമായ്വസിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ദൈവം എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.
7 മൃഗങ്ങളോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവ നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവ പറഞ്ഞുതരും;
8 അല്ല, ഭൂമിയോടു സംഭാഷിക്ക; അതു നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യം നിന്നോടു വിവരിക്കും.
9 യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഇതു പ്രർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഇവയെല്ലാംകൊണ്ടും ഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തവനാർ?
10 സകലജീവജന്തുക്കളുടെയും പ്രാണനും സകലമനുഷ്യവർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെയും ശ്വാസവും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
11 ചെവി വാക്കുകളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അണ്ണാകൂ ഭക്ഷണം രുചിനോക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?
12 വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽ ജ്ഞാനവും വയോധികന്മാരിൽ വിവേകവും ഉണ്ടു.
13 ജ്ഞാനവും ശക്തിയും അവന്റെ പക്കൽ, ആലോചനയും വിവേകവും അവന്നുള്ളതു.
14 അവൻ ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആർക്കും പണിതുകൂടാ; അവൻ മനുഷ്യനെ ബന്ധിച്ചാൽ ആരും അഴിച്ചുവിടുകയില്ല.
15 അവൻ വെള്ളം തടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞാൽ അതു വറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവൻ വിട്ടയച്ചാൽ അതു ഭൂമിയെ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
16 അവന്റെ പക്കൽ ശക്തിയും സാഫല്യവും ഉണ്ടു; വഞ്ചിതനും വഞ്ചകനും അവന്നുള്ളവർ.
17 അവൻ മന്ത്രിമാരെ കവർച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടു പോകുന്നു; ന്യായാധിപന്മാരെ ഭോഷന്മാരാക്കുന്നു.
18 രാജാക്കന്മാർ ബന്ധിച്ചതിനെ അഴിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ അരെക്കു കയറു കെട്ടുന്നു.
19 അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ കവർച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു; ബലശാലികളെ തള്ളിയിട്ടുകളയുന്നു.
20 അവൻ വിശ്വസ്തന്മാർക്കു വാക്കു മുട്ടിക്കുന്നു. വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ബുദ്ധി എടുത്തുകളയുന്നു.
21 അവൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെമേൽ ധിക്കാരം പകരുന്നു; ബലവാന്മാരുടെ അരക്കച്ച അഴിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

2 No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
3 But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
4 I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
5 He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
6 The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
7 But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
11 Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
12 With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
13 With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
14 Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
15 Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
16 With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
17 He leadeth counsellers away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
18 He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
19 He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
20 He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
21 He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.

1 അതിന്നു ഇയ്യോബ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
And Job answered and said,
2 ഓഹോ, നിങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു വിദ്വജ്ജനം! നിങ്ങൾ മരിച്ചാൽ ജ്ഞാനം മരിക്കും.
No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
3 നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ എനിക്കും ബുദ്ധി ഉണ്ടു; നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ ഞാൻ അധമനല്ല; ആർക്കാകുന്നു ഈവക അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതു?
But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
4 ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചു ഉത്തരം ലഭിച്ച ഞാൻ എന്റെ സഖിക്കു പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീർന്നു; നീതിമാനും നഷ്കളങ്കനുമായവൻ തന്നേ പരിഹാസവിഷയമായിത്തീർന്നു.
I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
5 വിപത്തു നിന്ദ്യം എന്നു സുഖിയന്റെ വിചാരം; കാൽ ഇടറുന്നവർക്കു അതു ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
6 പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങൾ ശുഭമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ നിർഭയമായ്വസിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ദൈവം എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.
The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
7 മൃഗങ്ങളോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവ നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവ പറഞ്ഞുതരും;
But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
8 അല്ല, ഭൂമിയോടു സംഭാഷിക്ക; അതു നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യം നിന്നോടു വിവരിക്കും.
Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
9 യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഇതു പ്രർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഇവയെല്ലാംകൊണ്ടും ഗ്രഹിക്കാത്തവനാർ?
Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?
10 സകലജീവജന്തുക്കളുടെയും പ്രാണനും സകലമനുഷ്യവർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെയും ശ്വാസവും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
11 ചെവി വാക്കുകളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അണ്ണാകൂ ഭക്ഷണം രുചിനോക്കുന്നില്ലയോ?
Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
12 വൃദ്ധന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽ ജ്ഞാനവും വയോധികന്മാരിൽ വിവേകവും ഉണ്ടു.
With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
13 ജ്ഞാനവും ശക്തിയും അവന്റെ പക്കൽ, ആലോചനയും വിവേകവും അവന്നുള്ളതു.
With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
14 അവൻ ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആർക്കും പണിതുകൂടാ; അവൻ മനുഷ്യനെ ബന്ധിച്ചാൽ ആരും അഴിച്ചുവിടുകയില്ല.

15 അവൻ വെള്ളം തടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞാൽ അതു വറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നു; അവൻ വിട്ടയച്ചാൽ അതു ഭൂമിയെ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

16 അവന്റെ പക്കൽ ശക്തിയും സാഫല്യവും ഉണ്ടു; വഞ്ചിതനും വഞ്ചകനും അവന്നുള്ളവർ.
With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
17 അവൻ മന്ത്രിമാരെ കവർച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടു പോകുന്നു; ന്യായാധിപന്മാരെ ഭോഷന്മാരാക്കുന്നു.
He leadeth counsellers away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
18 രാജാക്കന്മാർ ബന്ധിച്ചതിനെ അഴിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ അരെക്കു കയറു കെട്ടുന്നു.

19 അവൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെ കവർച്ചയായി കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു; ബലശാലികളെ തള്ളിയിട്ടുകളയുന്നു.

He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
