Jeremiah 9:3
അവർ വ്യാജത്തിന്നായിട്ടു നാവു വില്ലുപോലെ കുലെക്കുന്നു; അവർ സത്യത്തിന്നായിട്ടല്ല ദേശത്തു വീര്യം കാണിക്കുന്നതു; അവർ ഒരു ദോഷം വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ദോഷത്തിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്നു; അവർ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

| their tongues | לְשׁוֹנָם֙ | lĕšônām | leh-shoh-NAHM |
| bow their like | קַשְׁתָּ֣ם | qaštām | kahsh-TAHM |
| for lies: | שֶׁ֔קֶר | šeqer | SHEH-ker |
| but they are not | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| valiant | לֶאֱמוּנָ֖ה | leʾĕmûnâ | leh-ay-moo-NA |
| truth the for | גָּבְר֣וּ | gobrû | ɡove-ROO |
| upon the earth; | בָאָ֑רֶץ | bāʾāreṣ | va-AH-rets |
| for | כִּי֩ | kiy | kee |
| they proceed | מֵרָעָ֨ה | mērāʿâ | may-ra-AH |
| from evil | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| to | רָעָ֧ה׀ | rāʿâ | ra-AH |
| evil, | יָצָ֛אוּ | yāṣāʾû | ya-TSA-oo |
| and they know | וְאֹתִ֥י | wĕʾōtî | veh-oh-TEE |
| not | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| me, saith | יָדָ֖עוּ | yādāʿû | ya-DA-oo |
| the Lord. | נְאֻם | nĕʾum | neh-OOM |
| יְהוָֽה׃ | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
