Jeremiah 35:18
പിന്നെ യിരെമ്യാവു രേഖാബ്യഗൃഹത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ യോനാദാബിന്റെ കല്പന പ്രാണിച്ചു അവന്റെ ആജ്ഞയൊക്കെയും അനുസരിച്ചു അവൻ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു,

| of hosts, | צְבָאוֹת֙ | ṣĕbāʾôt | tseh-va-OTE |
| the God | אֱלֹהֵ֣י | ʾĕlōhê | ay-loh-HAY |
| Israel; of | יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| Because | יַ֚עַן | yaʿan | YA-an |
| אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER | |
| obeyed have ye | שְׁמַעְתֶּ֔ם | šĕmaʿtem | sheh-ma-TEM |
| עַל | ʿal | al | |
| the commandment | מִצְוַ֖ת | miṣwat | meets-VAHT |
| of Jonadab | יְהוֹנָדָ֣ב | yĕhônādāb | yeh-hoh-na-DAHV |
| father, your | אֲבִיכֶ֑ם | ʾăbîkem | uh-vee-HEM |
| and kept | וַֽתִּשְׁמְרוּ֙ | wattišmĕrû | va-teesh-meh-ROO |

| precepts, his | מִצְוֹתָ֔יו | miṣwōtāyw | mee-ts-oh-TAV |
| and done | וַֽתַּעֲשׂ֔וּ | wattaʿăśû | va-ta-uh-SOO |
| all unto according | כְּכֹ֥ל | kĕkōl | keh-HOLE |
| that | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| he hath commanded you: | צִוָּ֖ה | ṣiwwâ | tsee-WA |
| אֶתְכֶֽם׃ | ʾetkem | et-HEM |
