Jeremiah 25:12
എഴുപതു സംവത്സരം തികയുമ്പോൾ, ഞാൻ ബാബേൽ രാജാവിനെയും ആ ജാതിയെയും കല്ദയരുടെ ദേശത്തെയും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം സന്ദർശിച്ചു അതിനെ ശാശ്വതശൂന്യമാക്കിത്തീർക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

| the king | מֶֽלֶךְ | melek | MEH-lek |
| of Babylon, | בָּבֶל֩ | bābel | ba-VEL |
| that and | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| nation, | הַגּ֨וֹי | haggôy | HA-ɡoy |
| saith | הַה֧וּא | hahûʾ | ha-HOO |
| the Lord, | נְאֻם | nĕʾum | neh-OOM |
| for | יְהוָ֛ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| their iniquity, | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| land the and | עֲוֹנָ֖ם | ʿăwōnām | uh-oh-NAHM |
| of the Chaldeans, | וְעַל | wĕʿal | veh-AL |
| make will and | אֶ֣רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| it perpetual | כַּשְׂדִּ֑ים | kaśdîm | kahs-DEEM |
| desolations. | וְשַׂמְתִּ֥י | wĕśamtî | veh-sahm-TEE |
