Jeremiah 11:8
അവരോ അനുസരിക്കയും ചെവി ചായ്ക്കയും ചെയ്യാതെ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ദുഷ്ടഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ശാഠ്യപ്രകാരം നടന്നു; ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ അവരോടു ചെയ്വാൻ കല്പിച്ചതും അവർ ചെയ്യാതെയിരുന്നതുമായ ഈ നിയമത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ അവരുടെ മേൽ വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

| one every | אִ֕ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| in the imagination | בִּשְׁרִיר֖וּת | bišrîrût | beesh-ree-ROOT |
| evil their of | לִבָּ֣ם | libbām | lee-BAHM |
| heart: | הָרָ֑ע | hārāʿ | ha-RA |
| bring will I therefore | וָאָבִ֨יא | wāʾābîʾ | va-ah-VEE |
| upon | עֲלֵיהֶ֜ם | ʿălêhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| them | אֶֽת | ʾet | et |
| all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the words | דִּבְרֵ֧י | dibrê | deev-RAY |
| of this | הַבְּרִית | habbĕrît | ha-beh-REET |
| covenant, | הַזֹּ֛את | hazzōt | ha-ZOTE |
| which | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| I commanded | צִוִּ֥יתִי | ṣiwwîtî | tsee-WEE-tee |
| them to do; | לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת | laʿăśôt | la-uh-SOTE |
| did they but | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| them not. | עָשֽׂוּ׃ | ʿāśû | ah-SOO |
