Exodus 8:29
അതിന്നു മോശെ: ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു യഹോവയോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കും; നാളെ നായീച്ച ഫറവോനെയും ഭൃത്യന്മാരെയും ജനത്തെയും വിട്ടു നീങ്ങിപ്പോകും. എങ്കിലും യഹോവെക്കു യാഗം കഴിപ്പാൻ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ഫറവോൻ ഇനി ചതിവു ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

| thee, and I will intreat | וְהַעְתַּרְתִּ֣י | wĕhaʿtartî | veh-ha-tahr-TEE |

| the Lord | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| that the swarms | וְסָ֣ר | wĕsār | veh-SAHR |
| depart may flies of | הֶֽעָרֹ֗ב | heʿārōb | heh-ah-ROVE |
| from Pharaoh, | מִפַּרְעֹ֛ה | mipparʿō | mee-pahr-OH |
| servants, his from | מֵֽעֲבָדָ֥יו | mēʿăbādāyw | may-uh-va-DAV |
| and from his people, | וּמֵֽעַמּ֖וֹ | ûmēʿammô | oo-may-AH-moh |
| to morrow: | מָחָ֑ר | māḥār | ma-HAHR |
