1 Kings 2:37
പുറത്തിറങ്ങി കിദ്രോൻ തോടു കടക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ നീ മരിക്കേണ്ടിവരും എന്നു തീർച്ചയായി അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക; നിന്റെ രക്തം നിന്റെ തലമേൽ തന്നേ ഇരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
| For it shall be, | וְהָיָ֣ה׀ | wĕhāyâ | veh-ha-YA |
| that on the day | בְּי֣וֹם | bĕyôm | beh-YOME |
| out, goest thou | צֵֽאתְךָ֗ | ṣēʾtĕkā | tsay-teh-HA |
| and passest over | וְעָֽבַרְתָּ֙ | wĕʿābartā | veh-ah-vahr-TA |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the brook | נַ֣חַל | naḥal | NA-hahl |
| Kidron, | קִדְר֔וֹן | qidrôn | keed-RONE |
| know shalt thou | יָדֹ֥עַ | yādōaʿ | ya-DOH-ah |
| for certain | תֵּדַ֖ע | tēdaʿ | tay-DA |
| that | כִּ֣י | kî | kee |
| thou shalt surely | מ֣וֹת | môt | mote |
| die: | תָּמ֑וּת | tāmût | ta-MOOT |
| blood thy | דָּֽמְךָ֖ | dāmĕkā | da-meh-HA |
| shall be | יִֽהְיֶ֥ה | yihĕye | yee-heh-YEH |
| upon thine own head. | בְרֹאשֶֽׁךָ׃ | bĕrōʾšekā | veh-roh-SHEH-ha |
