അവന്റെ കാലത്തു ബേഥേല്യനായ ഹീയേൽ യെരീഹോ പണിതു; യഹോവ നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവമുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത വചനപ്രകാരം അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടപ്പോൾ അവന്നു അബീറാം എന്ന മൂത്തമകനും അതിന്റെ പടിവാതിൽ വെച്ചപ്പോൾ ശെഗൂബു എന്ന ഇളയമകനും നഷ്ടംവന്നു.
