അവൻ പൂജാഗിരിക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി സർവ്വജനത്തിൽനിന്നും ലേവ്യരല്ലാത്തവരെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായി നിയമിച്ചു.
