Leviticus 6:27
ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಅದರ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಅದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗುವದು; ಯಾವದಾ ದರೂ ಉಡುಪಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವು ಚಿಮುಕಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ಚಿಮುಕಿಸದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ತೊಳೆಯಬೇಕು.

ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಯಜ್ಞ ವೇದಿಯು ಅತಿಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವದು. ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

ಯಾಕಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ಆತನ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದರೆ ಸಾಕು, ಗುಣವಾಗುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಳು.

ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರವಾದ ಈ ದುಃಖವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಥ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಎಂಥ ನಿರ್ದೋಷತ್ವವನ್ನೂ ಎಂಥ ರೋಷವನ್ನೂ ಎಂಥ ಭಯವನ್ನೂ ಎಂಥ ಅಧಿಕವಾದ ಹಂಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಎಂಥ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಎಂಥ ಪ್ರತಿಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿತೆಂದು ನೋಡಿರಿ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳೆಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಂ
