ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಲಕ್ಕೂ ಎಡಕ್ಕೂ ತಿರುಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಿಲ್ಲದ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತನು.

| place, | צָ֔ר | ṣār | tsahr |
| where | אֲשֶׁ֛ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| was no | אֵֽין | ʾên | ane |
| way | דֶּ֥רֶךְ | derek | DEH-rek |
| to turn | לִנְט֖וֹת | linṭôt | leen-TOTE |
| hand right the to either | יָמִ֥ין | yāmîn | ya-MEEN |
| or to the left. | וּשְׂמֹֽאול׃ | ûśĕmōwl | oo-seh-MOVE-l |
