ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 4:35
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಳ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನಂತೆಯೇ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕು; ಯಾಜಕನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದಂತೆಯೇ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಡ ಬೇಕು; ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಜಕನು ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಆಗ ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು.
