ಆಗ ಅದರ ಅಕ್ಕ ಫರೋಹನ ಮಗಳಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಹೋಗಿ ಈ ಕೂಸಿಗೆ ಮೊಲೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ದಾದಿ ಯನ್ನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲೋ ಅಂದಳು.

ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆರೋನನ ಸಹೋ ದರಿ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡಳು. ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಂಡು ನಾಟ್ಯವಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಹೋದರು.

ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 12:1
ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಐಥೋಪ್ಯಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳೂ ಆರೋನನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಐಥೋಪ್ಯಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.

ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 26:59
ಆದರೆ ಕೆಹಾತನು ಅಮ್ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು. ಅಮ್ರಾಮನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಯೋಕೆಬೆದಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಗಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ಅಮ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಮೋಶೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳನ್ನೂ ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
