ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಮೋರಿ ಯರ ಅರಸುಗಳಾದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಯರ್ಮೂತಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಲಾಕೀಷಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಎಗ್ಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಈ ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸುಗಳು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರೂ ಅವರ ಸೈನ್ಯವೂ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಗಿಬ್ಬೋನಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಪಾಳೆಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ದರು.

ಆಗ ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನ ಜನರು--ಪರ್ವತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡದೆ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಳೆಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
