John 11:45
ಆಗ ಮರಿಯಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಯೇಸು ಮಾಡಿದವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು.

ಮನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಕೂಡ ಇದ್ದು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಆಕೆಯು ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಎದ್ದು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ--ಆಕೆಯು ಅಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾಳೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಆಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ತಿಳಿದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ ಲಾಜರನನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಲಾಜರನನ್ನು ಸಮಾ ಧಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರೆದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದಾಗ ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಜನರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆದರೆ ಫರಿಸಾಯರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ತಾವು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಿಂದ ಬಹಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
