ಅರಸ ನಾದ ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಆರನೇ ವರುಷದ ಅಡಾರ್‌ ತಿಂಗಳ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಆಲಯವು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ತೀರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಎದ್ದು ಆ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಜನರ ಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು, ಚಿಕ್ಕವ ರನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಹೊಡೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಅಡಾರ್‌ ತಿಂಗಳೆಂಬ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹದಿಮೂರನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನ ಮಾತೂ ಅವನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಿಾ ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡುವೆವೆಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಶೂಷ ನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಅಡಾರೆಂಬ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಶೂಷನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಅಡಾರ್‌ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹದಿಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸ ಇದು ಆಯಿತು. ಅದರ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಬ್ಬದ ಸಂತೋಷದ ದಿವಸವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಮೊರ್ದೆಕೈಯು ಈ ವರ್ತಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಅಹಷ್ವೇರೋಷನ ಸಕಲ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ದೂರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಸಕಲ ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
