ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಇದ್ದನು; ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಓದೇದನು. ಅವನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಸೈನ್ಯೆಕ್ಕೆದುರಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿರಲಾಗಿ, ನೀವು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ಉಗ್ರದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
