ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರು ತಮಗೆ ಶ್ರಮೆ ಉಂಟಾದ್ದದರಿಂದ ತಾವು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಗವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮುಳ್ಳಿನ ಪೊದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದುರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕುಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡರು.
